When you went did they do a civil war show with dinner? When we went in the late 90s one side was the north and one was the south and they put on a show. The dinner was a cornish game hen, beans and cornbread and we had boot cups. It was a pretty fun experience.

Great show. My wife and I saw it during Covid. They put fiberglass dividers on our left and right. The food was excellent. If we see it again, we will watch it from the top section.

Great review! I sit with a lady with Alzheimer's and we just watched it. She loves horses. I haven't been there in a long time. Looks like they have changed some since I last went.
We didn't like Hatfield and McCoys and was glad the tickets were given to us. We are glad we didn't waste our money. Amazing how different people like different things.

The stampede in myrtle beach was changed to a different themed show called pirates voyage, I do remember seeing one stampede show as a little girl but that's it. I live in myrtle beach still, so if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I went here when I was in 3rd grade, it was 2018 and around Christmas time. I loved it so much, and just last year I went to the pirate dinner show. I loved it as well. The pirate one is my favorite but the Stampede gives me more nostalgia.
Creamed soup is my favorite food there and Hatfield! Food for the kids there can be tricky. Reg show and Christmas shows are both great!! 🐎

Horses arent native to North America. They were brought over. The last horses in North America was about 11,000 years ago.

Thanks, I have always wondered about this show. I read a review that someone said it was like they were eating in a barnyard, so that always stuck in my mind. The show looks spectacular! Going to have to try it! We have only been to Hatfields and McCoys, the show and food were great - they had the same soup! I bought some soup mix in the gift shop and it was just as yummy!
We have found if you sit up midway or higher you are a bit better. There are no bad seats and ventilation is great but a bit higher does make it a bit better. I'm like you and smells can be a concern. But the show is too great to miss and the meal is wonderful! I hope y'all decide to go on a future trip! You will not be disappointed!

Mercy this video brings back memories. Went to grand opening of Dixie Stampede in Myrtle Beach,South Carolina. Waited over 5 hours in 100 degree weather to see Dolly arrive. 3rd row back, so the view was great until she stepped off that bus…everyone in front of me, grew taller & bigger😅 but I’m sure I seen the top of her head😅
Yes I still call it Dixie stampede I love the show I have seen the show several times before and the food is amazing me and my mom went to Dixie stampede in may and loved it.

Thank you for making this video. I haven’t been in 32 years. It was Dixie Stampede back then. I had no idea the name had changed. I did notice in your video they are now giving cutlery. I remember how upset I was that they were not given and we had to eat with our hands. That part was awful. Glad to see it’s changed. Your daughters are hilarious…btw.😂

This is why me n Anna are making our trip soon bc last time she went with us to GBURG, we wasn't able to make it happen. So that's why we are staying in PF this trip for only 3 days maybe 4 she also wants to go Horseback riding too. She loves animals but especially horses. Happy Birthday

We really enjoyed the pirate dinner show. I wish you could eat and see your food before the shows and then enjoy the show. I herd that the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show let's you eat before the show but I'm not sure. I would love to see you guys review the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show too. I agree with you on the food. I was not impressed, but the show was amazing. Hatfield and McCoy's is still my favorite. The food, in my opinion, is much better and the show is awesome. Happy Birthday Keegan!

Our family has been to The Dixie Stampede too many times to count. We started going probably 25 years ago when our children were small and now they are grown and take their children. Even if it’s the same show I’m always entertained. The details and expense put in to this production is, as Brittany says, New York quality. The Christmas show is my favorite! I really like most of the food and because it’s such a big meal we don’t eat much during the day we go, so I’m always really hungry. The soup in my favorite with the rotisserie chicken being second! (Maybe your girls have missed seeing this type chicken in the deli section of most grocery stores, thus being traumatized seeing a whole cooked chicken? Their expressions were so funny when that chicken was put on their plates! 🐔) The corn and potato aren’t anything special to me, but really, soup and a whole chicken are plenty enough to fill me up anyway. We’ve been to all the other dinner shows in Pigeon Forge (even the Mystery Dinner Show 👎) and none of them come anywhere close to The Dixie Stampede for my family! (aka Dolly Pardon’s Stampede)

I didn't even know that the name of this show had been changed since 2018.
I just assumed that it remained as the Dixie Stampede to this day.
It still looks as entertaining as the old show.
As long as too much of it hasn't been changed, I'm fine with it.
Though, I think they should've substituted "Dixie" with something else to give the show full name that would suit the style of it.
I'm glad that they still kept Skeeter around for it.
It wouldn't be the same without him.
Skeeter never failed to amuse me the last time I had seen this show in 2009 when it was still known as the Dixie Stampede at the time.
This might seem silly, but I wouldve liked to see Skeeter appear in an episode of the Disney Channel comedy television series "Bunk'd" as one of Lou Hockhauser's relatives who comes to Camp Kikiwaka for a visit and still have him be his goofy country bumpkin self.

I enjoy the dinner shows. I do wish they would offer an option for just the show and not the food. Pirates voyage is my favorite out of all of them. Then Dixie stampede and finally Hatfield and McCoy💙

we enjoyed Dixie Stampede(waits for it from Brittney) It's been a very long time since going. We enjoyed the food, for the most part. Oh, and the look on Jaycee's face with the chicken- priceless lol. Of course the show was the main draw and the ticket prices were better, but as i said, that was years ago. To be honest, DS is a great show, but i enjoyed Hatfield N McCoy more, the food(imo) was better and the show is zany and fun. Oh, my son says i have to put a good word in for The Comedy Barn. :) Glad you enjoyed it.

We took our boys who are now adults to the Myrtle Beach show..now are considering taking our
8 1/2 year old grandson to the show. Trying to decide on either this show or the pirate show? Hard decision...not sure he will eat the whole chicken! Lol

We haven’t but it’s on the list. The only one we have done Christmas themed is Hatfield and McCoy’s and we loved it

I have been to Dollie’s stampede several times over the years and the show is always basically the same so I think I’ve had my fill of that place. The food was good. Most young people do not like a whole chicken especially when it has bones in it. They are used to tenders or nuggets. I have been to Hatfield and McCoy the show is excellent but the particular night that I went my fried chicken was burnt and hard and the other food was overdone, Also I did not like the way you had to sit at the tables sideways to the stage so that you had to turn your neck to one shoulder at all times. Had plans to go to the pirate show a couple weeks ago when a member of my family got food poisoning and was sick the rest of the week so didn’t get to make it this time.
Omg that’s terrible. We can’t wait to try Hatfield and we hope you love pirates that’s probably our favorite at the moment
