The reason for this is that Kapa is generally performed when playing against stronger teams - ironically all 3 of the draws that the All Blacks have had since Kapa was introduced have followed it's performance. But you are right, they used it in the 2015 semi final demolition of France, and in the 2013 test against the Boks in Johannesburg (the best test match I've ever seen), but the Boks were in that game all the way to the bitter end.

I’m not sure we even have that any more. Union is dead in Aus and the leadership have done nothing to fix the problem. The problems go all the way to the grass roots. The ARU are pretty much broke and theres nothing much coming through the juniors due to poor development. League sucks up the majority of talent in this country and I can only see that becoming more widespread. If the mess continues we won’t even make the quarters for next years RWC and will fall out of the top powers for the forseeable future. Sad

It is pretty obvious that the Aussie coach is incapable of learning from the mistakes in his coaching regimen. Joe Schmidt sussed him out and for Steve Hansen it is like taking candy from a child. Kupa Cronk sure, the QB is always going to get the praise. Just like Mo’unga made BB look average for game management when he had the AB forward pack plowing the path for him. I’m saying, look at the Retallicks, Sam Whitelock, Sam Canes, they set the foundation. It’s a team sport and we often focus on the finisher, not the guy who time and time again straightened the attack to make that space or made the high IQ play. Conrad Smith is a perfect example and I feel Goodhue will be the same. Food for thought, sometimes world player of the year is not the best player.

Just watched the game again,Barretts first try was from a forward pass, Barnes missed it,and so did the touchies,it wasn't called,so life goes on,makes me question the need for touch judges,as an ABs fan,i love seeing the boys clean up,but i also like it to be fair,in saying that,we see things the ref doesn't,unless he's told about it,which comes down to the touchies,roll on the northern tour.

Kupa Cronk sure, the QB is always going to get the praise. Just like Mo’unga made BB look average for game management when he had the AB forward pack plowing the path for him. I’m saying, look at the Retallicks, Sam Whitelock, Sam Canes, they set the foundation. It’s a team sport and we often focus on the finisher, not the guy who time and time again straightened the attack to make that space or made the high IQ play. Conrad Smith is a perfect example and I feel Goodhue will be the same.
Food for thought, sometimes world player of the year is not the best player.
@@KallousKiwi ,the IRB seem to be on to that because if you look at the list of winners many of them are forwards so it seems the IRB do take that into account and dont just focus on the flashy players or finishers.Remember also,flashy players like Carter only won the award 3 times over his whole career which Barrett is likely to do in his first 3 years as the incumbant.Ben Smith who you also pointed out has yet to win it so it goes to show you that the finishers dont always win the award and have to earn it like BB did.

Springboks are always a tough nut to crack even when they aren't in the middle of a good run.
For me playing the spring boks is still the ultimate due to the pure hard rugby that gets played. Just a thought.... would the spring boks put the coveted spring bok head on the line for test matches between us know since touring is pretty much obsolete?!!

Just watched the game again,Barretts first try was from a forward pass, Barnes missed it,and so did the touchies,it wasn't called,so life goes on,makes me question the need for touch judges,as an ABs fan,i love seeing the boys clean up,but i also like it to be fair,in saying that,we see things the ref doesn't,unless he's told about it,which comes down to the touchies,roll on the northern tour.
Fairly said Andy M. I think the ABs are fantastic and most of their wins are well deserved, but I can't for the life of me understand how so many of their passes over the last umpteen tests look forward, but are never called.
@@kurtflamer-caldera8368 Same bro, the first test in Sydney was the same,but both teams got away with it, the ABs move so fast, the refs miss a lot of them,but that's what the touch judges are there for. In a Rugby World Cup,they are told to only pull up penalties and out on the full,not sure why,but I was told that by Steve Walsh the Kiwi ref,makes zero sense. The "ABs get preferential treatment " club, will be loving this, it pisses me off that they do get away with so much.
