never pick flowers in Australia. Below the petals, there's a 99% chance of finding at least 4 redback spiders, 2 snakes and a shark.
Doing so leaves you defenseless against groups or airborne kamikazerantulas.

When talking about Australia I don't know why they fake the need to fake it. I think I heard all three main accents in a sentence. Also what a weird list in terms of numbering. Why have some of the most dangererous creatures before stuff like a flying fox which is more annoying. May as well but in Magpies if your going to do that.

i live in N.S.W, AUSTRALIA and the scariest thing in the bush is a KING BROWN SNAKE, they grow up to 12 feet or more and are very, very aggressive. i have been chased almost 2km through the bush by one, till i got to my car and jumped on the roof, when i looked down it was striking the front tyre, now that's scary.

as a kid growing up in Australia I had jars of different spiders, huntsman eating hornets and bees. found a redback in a bunch of grapes I was eating from lol played with random snakes at creeks with long branches very stupid but fun and the thing that scares me in Australia is the magpie's you don't see coming to swoop on your head and leave a hole leaking blood as you fall to the ground swinging your arms to scare it away looking like a weirdo in the park. now that gave me nightmare after nightmare

I remember something.... I'll tell ya a story . So , me and my family were takin a trip to port Douglas in Queensland . And we were staying at this resort , built on the coast. And guess what hangs around the coasts of far North Queensland ? Saltwater crocs... we thought we would go to the beach for a walk down the coast . We saw a sign saying "beware of saltwater crocodiles" we acknowledged it but kept walking. About 50 metres ahead was a croc laying down , just about to get up and walk towards the resort.
    WELCOME TO AUSTRALIA!!!

7:08 is a red-bellied black snake, not a taipan. Red bellies are less toxic (although still extremely deadly without the right antivenom), but are more dangerous because they can be very aggressive (and I mean will chase and bite you). About 3 years ago I had one in my chook-run over 5 feet long and as thick as my wrist (I am a large man). Happily it fled the scene when it saw/felt my presence.
A relative of the red-belly killed a neighbour's Roman mastiff (80kg dog). The dog was found dead next to it's waterbowl in the laundry with a 15 cm (6 inch) black snake next to it bitten almost in half and also dead. The dog had only been left alone for a couple of hours and was still warm. Baby snakes (Strayan ones, anyway) have little or no control over their venom glands and never refrain from envenomating when they bite.

Guys pls stop discriminating australia. I live there and its not that bad. Its really pretty and i live a normal life there where i live. I have only seen bees and bats so far. I have seen the crocodiles but only in zoos. Im talking about seeing bees and bats not in captivity. Although admittedly in luna park a few days ago, i was there to see the theme park, not ride any rides and there were so many bees around the ferris wheel. I live somewhere in nsw, not gonna say where, and have only seen bees and bats like i said before. My point is, if you focus on the negative of australia, like all these dangerous animals, the country wont seem nice. But if you focus on good things like the beaches and the great barrier reef, its a beautiful country. There are some trees that bloom purple flowers (I think) when its near christmas, and on my old school grass, when its spring, small purple flowers grow. Im sure that there are many more wonderful things about australia that i can list, but it might just be too many. So pls stop saying ''oh no. So many bad things in australia, i wont ever go there!'' Because then you might never see the opera house or ride the many (like 4) amusement parks in the gold coast. (You can search the opera house on google but i mean in real life)

Tbh i've seen too many funnel web spiders to count, and frankly spiders really aren't that terrible unless they fall on you at 1am. The worst i deal with normally is a Huntsman spider (granted they are like the size of your palm) and frankly we just let them chill on the walls and 99% of the time give them names like darrel, steve or wane, we only remove them if they get too close for comfort by getting a container and a bit of paper and boom spider gone.
