Thansk for the video! my vehicle is a 2009 LR2 2.2 diesel. I would like to know if reprogramming the ECU is strictly necessary when blocking the EGR valve, or if it can function without issues by simply installing the blanking plate. Thank you very much for your attention.
    Thanks in advance!

Hey, with this one we didn’t re program the ECU and there hasn’t been any problems in almost 1 year! It’s only made the car run a lot better

So for the later 2014 model, you have to drill a 7mm hole in the plate to get no errors?
Why is it specially a 7mm hole?
And what's exactly the benefits of installing this part?
    Any better fuel consumption?

I’m not sure as I haven’t done it on a 2014 one before however we did it on this 2008 one because it was having problems, going into limp mode and generally a lack of power. Since doing this, it’s not had a problem in almost 1 year and it drives a lot better

@@TheCrazyMechanic thank you for the information.
But may I ask from where you got the information that a 7mm hole is required for later models?
1mm should be good enough for the sensors.
Did you recognized any better fuel economy after the ERG block?
