This episode never gets old for me. It makes me laugh the whole way. A mother’s love makes her overlook almost anything, except she don’t hold with murder.
Matt's looking for some dead bodies, and Chester just can't understand why he's interested in a whole bunch of coyotes. And then when he finds the dead bodies, Chester calls it a mighty lucky hunch. He just can't understand how one and one could equal two.
Earlier episodes, Chester was portrayed as a good right hand man for Dillon but as the show progressed, they found it necessary to morph Chester into a dolt. Even his voice changed from a young man to a codger in a few shows.
I have a Notebook to keep up with which episodes I watch. I have soft headphones like a head wrap. Can sleep with headphones. Love it
Awesome, I keep track of what I've heard with a checklist. Great program!
@@burningspirit7874 👌I keep track by commenting on every episode that I listen to. 🤠
Thanks for another superb episode from the finest series in radio history.
Excellent! Thanks!
One of the best episodes by the great Les Crutchfield. This is the definition of art.

Gotta love Chester

A great but tragic episode. Thanks "OTRA" 🤠
Rather listen to Gunsmoke and other radio dramas then watch TV.
I swear, Ms. Wade had the same VA as Joe Friday's mother in _Dragnet._
Matt Dillon knows when something is amiss. This is a nasty story but has a happy ending... 18 Apr 2024
Got off too easy
