I am sure if you ask around a local yacht club there are a lot of people that do individual instruction. It probably depends where you go. Just talk to any of the locals with sailboats and I'm sure they will be helpful. I kinda grew up around it so I never had any formal education. My parents were champion sailors and my mom taught me a lot. Thanks for watching!

I'll stick with the R2AK...I like scenery and 4 seasons each year. But to each their own...I grew up in TX and just never want to return. The sailing up here is hit or miss, but always has beautiful mountian veiws but frequently it either isnt blowing or is too stronf

Thank you👍. The CNC saved probably a couple of weeks of build time. It took about 8 months for me to build. It was slowed up by jury duty but I pretty much worked seven days a week on it. I work from home so when I was not on the phone I was building. Right now I am preparing for a different 200 mile adventure. It is a 200 mile gravel bike race in Kansas called Unbound Gravel. There are videos on TH-cam. I may make one

A CLC Pocketship is looking a lot like the kind of mini-cruiser I'd love to have spending a weekend on one of the lakes around where I live. But alas Time, and Money evade me. I did over 50 the second to last day and still had daylight left and didn't have the best wind. With current and wind conditions your milage can vary but planning for anything over fifty could be difficult if the wind goes flat.
