Thank you Mr Pronk you're helping me alot with these variations, hence I love playing the Double corner opening this comes up alot so now I'mma be a sponge & absorb🤔
Thank you very much, my friend! I'm a big fan of the Double Corner opening, too. If you have any games you would like to share, I'd be happy to publish and analyze them on this channel!
Great video Ryan. @20:54 never understood why most books tail off at this point. After the white king moves 11-15 next the red draw is a little delicate. 16-19 (piece down) exchanges next with 31-27* to draw not 12-16!? which falls to 18-15.
Not in this game -- you don't have the take the most captures. You can take the single, double, triple, it does not matter. In other variants of checkers, you do have to take the most captures, but not here.

One of the most common key landings in checkers. Great video Ryan.
Thanks, Joe! I consider the landing a "most know" for any serious player!

Yes, you are absolutely correct! In hindsight I should have played a few more moves into the ending to show how to secure the draw. Thank you, Shane!
On 1:52, why did you choose to kill 1 but you could kill 2?
There's nothing wrong with the 6x22 capture, but it isn't seen in modern practice today and is considered inferior to the single capture.
The opponent automatic capture twice.
