I have a great idea! I think you need another shelf that you put in the man cave and put it where your blue table is in your basement! You could have games, baskets, so many things on that shelf. Versatile

The clear lamp is beautiful. Your basement looks so homey and comfortable.
Love the Target lamp, a large gather sign or word with a couple family photos above the entertainment center would look great.

I would definitely leave the top of the entertainment center empty, you don’t want it to get too cluttered. And I love the new lamp! You might want to consider a few throw pillows to match the teal furniture. I still love the pop of color! The room looks great!
I just love that pop of colour of that little blue/green cupboard in that area. It is unexpected and therefore makes it quite unique.
I’d keep the top of the entertainment center empty and go with the clear lamp. It all looks so great! Now I can’t wait for the bathroom update...no pressure! 😜

I agree with a couple other commenters on here - a “Gather” sign above the entrainment center would be nice and simple. As to the lamps, I like the clear based one. I also like the pop of color with the turquoise cabinet, but understand your viewpoint as I tend to choose matchy-matchy decor. 😬 I love your cozy yet simple decorating style!

Maybe when you look for a print for the wall in the basement ,look for one that has the same blue as the cabinet in it to tie them together
I love the blue cabinet with the lamp and the mirror! Gives a brightness to the room. Your eyes are drawn to how cozy it looks.

Your basement looks great. Enjoy the toys all around now.....believe me, you will miss them someday. Take photos of the “toy messes” from time to time. Not only will you enjoy looking at them in the future, but the children will have so much fun looking through an album of playtime family fun photos.

I don’t know if he’d want his guitar out of the case but when I redid my daughters room I purchased guitar hangers and we store her guitar & ukuleles on the wall, it looks so good, we love it. Everything you’ve done looks great!❤️

Target lamp looks great. I love the teal game shelf. I think it brightens up the rest of the room. Maybe some teal pillows on the couch. New shelf looks great. Love the decor on the glass shelves.
I love the entertainment center! A 8x10 or 5x7 framed portrait of each kid could be really cute across the top! ❤️
I love the target lamp I also think add in some teal into a throw and pillows specially for the spring, a game theme tray would look really cute. You could even add a pad to the table in the color teal to help with that piece. Love the entertainment center.

The top of the entertainment center is good the way it is. There is enough to catch the eye on the other shelves. I still like the blue cabinet area. It just looks so warm and put together. I agree, the clear lamp looks best in this decor.💝
I would paint the blue cabinet white or off white. Whatever color is in the mirror that you have on it. That would go perfect with the mirror and brighten up that corner just a bit. Love your home. You always do a great job decorating. Loved the kids jumping on the pillows. So cute. I remember those days.
I love the clear lamps and maybe for the top of the TV stand place a long skinish dough bowl with some filler pieces in it 🤷♀️.

A wooden "Family" or "Gather" sign above the entertainment center would look great also on the blank wall some artwork that would pull in the blue from the cabinet would look nice. I like the mercury lamp....sometimes glass lamps seem to turn a bit foggy over time. Your basement is looking so cozy and is such a great family space to hang out.

First of all I absolutely LOVE this basement, everything from the fireplace wall project, new carpet, entertainment center (goals btw) to the new target lamp (thats my vote its so warm & cozy looking)! I like the idea of framed pics with a nice row of books. OR nothing at all so as to keep it clean looking /not cluttered. Im sure whatever you do will be great. Happy shopping this weekend. Gretchen

I love how you are not afraid to tackle building furniture, love the new bookcase in the Man cave. The new entertainment center is awesome and all the space for decorating is amazing., goes really good with the new carpet. I really like the Target lamp, on top of the entertainment center I think the great full and blessed sign would look nice or a wall rectangle sign on the wall between the two towers. Maybe something on the shelf above the tv like pics? Maybe place his guitar on the wall in his cave? I would use the old book cabinet behind the couch with toys instead if fits. Loving watching your basement makeover. It all looks so amazing! I like the clear lamps.

I like the new furniture. Everything fits! My style, if I do have any, is more old fashioned (dark wood and so on) but I do like to look at the modern style, too!

I just love your cozy space and style! I really like the new target lamp and everything you’ve done in the basement. You could always paint your fun game cabinet in the same dark color as your fireplace surround if you’re looking to change that out. Def clear lamps. Both are pretty but like the clear best in the space. A country sign would look good on the top. Gather, simplify, blessings, sitting room. Etc

Top of tv stand on mine I have a slim vine with the wired led warm white battery powered lights. Not the twinkling but steady on. Give a warm cozy feeling and love it when lights are off and we are watching tv. Everything looks beautiful you are talented

On the blank wall, someone may have already suggested this but, take a Scrabble game board glue it to a backing or in a frame, use the tiles to spell out family names and favorite activities. I am OBSESSED with the new entertainment center! It looks perfect. I'm torn about something on the top shelf. If you do put something there I vote a word sign of some sort or candles, maybe of varying heights? I like the blue cabinet, it's fun to have a pop of color. And Target glass lamp for sure. Wow! That is quite the change..........it looks so homey and cozy. Your hubby has to love that new “nook”with all of his goodies. The main area is so pretty, not too fancy, just cozy and pretty. I love the kids’ play area.

I think 3 pillows would be fine on the sectional!! I would agree on leaving the top shelf over the tv empty, it will look to busy if add something with all you have on the sides I think!Looking good down there! 😊
