I think we can safely say that it’s changing the outlook on all types of warfare ..

Drones have made commanders on both sides are able act as spectators and to give orders in real time. Making the ability to adapt to the ever changing situation higher. Which I can see how militaries without a NCO corps or more of a top down CoC are able to utilize this to its fullest extent rather than before having a huge time gap waiting for authorizations/orders.

Quite often an immobilized vehicle is a destroyed vehicle now in this war. Especially on the Russian side. Ukrainian drone operators are highly skilled at dropping grenades into hatches left open by fleeing crews.
Ukrainians are also very skilled in flying small drones with shaped charge warheads into moving Russian tanks, IFVs and APCs. This is an entirely new dimension to this war. As is the almost constant presence of artillery spotter drones making adjusting of fire immediate and precise, once against especially for the Ukrainians.

Also that you can disable or destroy a million dollar tank for $300 is a bargain.

the only kind of bomb sight them drones dropping mortars have is the camera facing down and the dimentions of the drone.
though on plus side they can just hover over their target without being seen and thus not being shot at.

Skynet loves this. Skynet loves this a lot! Now how do we get rid of the human-controlled part and let the AI handle it instead?

Destroying a drone doesn't seem to be viewed as an act of war... not even in international airspace. They will have to include the ability to defend themselves in the future. Then, if your manned aircraft is taken out whilst attacked a drone in intenational airspace will that be an act of war?

Questioning the future of drones is too naive. It’s obvious, those who have better drones, will win future battles. Hopefully, NATO has plenty of them‼️
