- Darkseid vs GALACTUS Part 2 | Final EPIC Battle (Marvel vs DC) Darkseid is in a fight for his life against GALACTUS. After the cosmic entity GALACTUS & Silver Surfer arrived to Darkseid's home world Apokolips. Darkseid destroyed & killed Silver Surfer! GALACTUS struck back as the two fought in a epic show down destroying numerous of planets during their battle! Will Darkseid be able to overcome GALACTUS' might? Or will he perish and fail against the Devour of Worlds!

Fun but . Superman can't beat Silver Serfer or hid master . They absorb energy and they can glow with red sunlight. Superman has no chance
They have cosmic awareness it tells them weaknesses of their enemies and whete they are at . The silver surfer used it to learn Gladiators weakness and he is marvels Superman. Kalark is his name Kal Clark if you didn't notice. Might want to look up the encounter

@@unholywarrior9007 No. Gladiator is not Marvel's Superman. That falls under Sentry and Hyperion - the latter much closer. Hyperion already beat Galactus in the comics, blowing his head. And Hyperion, Thor, Hulk and Sentry are mostly par in strength. Yet Superman has been hinted by even Marvel as the strongest.
The reasons why in MOST cases DC characters will win against Marvel was how the difference in the lore and even size in terms of power and universe both operate.DC has the more bigger universe and has always been stated to have heroes more on par with Gods. Marvel has been more grounded. This is why DC's stories and Superman or Batman has always been a bench mark of power scaling. Also Superman already battled characters more powerful than Galactus and Silver Surfer yet he beats them.
And also both Galactus and Silver Sufer as far as I know can't create Red Sunlight. Not in the old Marvel comics nor even the modern versions. If you claim they can, then provide me with a link about it so that I can see. I've more than have 25+ years of comic collections and are avid fan of comics from DC, Marvel, Valiant, Dark Horse, Image, IDW, indies and many other comic book publishers and none of them, even the official Marvel site stating both Silver Surfer and Galactus can make Red Sunlight.
They also don't have any squat ability to know anyone's weakness nor cosmic awareness since that power can only sense disturbances or changes within the cosmic ether on a universal scale. The power scaling of marvel even in the official site is 7 as max except some goes beyond it, and Galactus is 7 in all his stats. What's funny is Gods like Zeus, Odin etch is still more powerful than Galactus. It's official. And the best part of all? The DC counter part of Zeus, Odin etch. which are called old gods are even more powerful than their Marvel counter part and the scale of DC goes up to 12 as maximum unless stated.
Those Gods called old Gods, Guess what? They where beaten by the New Gods - And on top of those New Gods is Darkseid and High Father. And the Darkseid that has been beaten before in any incarnation are actually just Avatars. Heck the reason why Darkseid need to use boom tubes is because they need to make sure that their size and mass gets adjusted to the dimension they enter and vise versa. Because if Darkseid enters the dimension of Earth, his size will make the Sun look like a small ball. That's how big the New Gods are. So just imagine the real size of their planet. If Galactus tries to enter their dimension without a boom tube, he will be the size of a bacteria or lets be generous an ant.

in the actual Marvel/DC crossover where Galactus battles Darkseid, Darkseid is quickly established to be much, much less powerful than Galactus. Galactus defeats him easily and then proceeds to try to devour Apokolips, only to find that there is no life force left in the planet and so nothing for him to eat. Also, DS only dispatches the Silver Surfer by catching him from behind. When you consider that Superman has defeated DS multiple times, it is evident that Galactus functions on a whole different level of power than DS.

@@postable8880 These characters have been reinterpreted again and again, more or less powerful, to suit the preferences of new writers and editors. IMO the fairest thing to do is look at the most frequent, longest-lasting versions. By that standard Darkseid has been depicted as far weaker than Galactus.
When you think about, Superman has defeated beings like Imperiex prime, Nebula man, God Brainiac, The World Forger, Barbatos and so on(which each of then can be easily scaled from Universal to Outerversal), so it is not that big of a deal to losing to Superman
And Galactus has died like 10 times kinda....

Darkseid just one shotted the specter and phantom stranger. He fought evenly with an anti monitor who was amped with the anti life equation. Darkseid also just fought the empty hand who was channeling the great darkness. These guys make galactus look like nothing. It depends on the version

Yes, Galactus defeated Darkseid almost quite easily in their fight in the comics, but that doesn't really prove that Big G is stronger than this evil New God. Of course, that's because the Darkseid we often see in DC isn't even the true Darkseid, as we know that he exists as the very embodiment of darkness and evil

There was a comics crossover that was a lot more straightforward. The Silver Surfer led Galactus to where New Genesis and Apokalips are located because Galactus badly needed to feed. The gods of New Genesis hid by having Lightray disguise their planet as a star. So Galactus landed on Apokalips instead. The Silver Surfer obliterated the planet's defenses. Darkseid confronted Galactus, who despite his weakened condition shrugged off Darkseid's Omega Beams like they were nothing and casually blasted Darkseid away. That would have been it except that Apokalips does not have any life energy, as Darkseid explained it was long ago consumed in the fire pits. So Galactus and the Surfer leave.
To add Darkseid "won" by wasting Galactus time allowing his planet to be ravaged. DS hit SS from behind and Galactus restored SS and left. Afterwards Darkseid believes he did New Genesis a favor and saved them from Galactus not knowing Highfather had Lightray hide them. Darkseid can't create universes and planets and he's without purpose if Apokolips is destroyed. Trigon proved that

A notable difference twixt Darksied & Galactus is that Darksied is a mutliversal being where he exists in every universe & the dimensions with ONE consciousness controlling each iteration of his manifestation. Galactus however: although he can move between universes; he is not a mutliversal manifestation of one consciousness controlling every incarnation. Each of Galactus's incarnations is a unique individual with ZERO shared consciousness!!!
What Darksied has is also a shared species trait with all of the New gods!!! These creatures however cannot in all of their combined might best The Arch Angel Michael!!!

just as better as part 1 man and since i mentioned Silver Surfer and other heralds you put him in it love it man and at the end showing Superman I’m like oh man Galactus is in trouble now since Superman fought those who are like Galactus’s size before like The Spectre and others before him that he fought before next thing gonna do is bring in the Justice League and not just Superman if he calls in for reinforcements from all the heavy hitters like Martian Manhunter to Wonder Woman and so on to face Galactus’s Heralds while they let Superman fight Galactus

Their challenge to each other is curious. Darkside losing is a bit odd he never gives up to another without a plan to either find a weakness or something else, or if he can source the challengers' powers for himself the anti life empowerment with power cosmic from another reality? And if Darkside nevertheless will respond in kind and use a more appropriate method to steal the power of the world eater from somewhere very close?
