- Thanos has successfully obtained the Reality stone from the Dark Elves, and the Power Stone from GALACTUS. Doctor Doom got a hold of the the Space stone, during his travels amongst the cosmos.
Thanos had Gamora and Nebula track down Doctor Doom. Knowingly he'd use the space stone and transport to Titan by sheer "luck" Thanos was waiting for Doctor Doom on his old planet Titan as we left off on Revenge for Earth Part 2.
In this story we see the subplot of Doctor Doom and Thanos fighting for control over the Space Stone. Will Doctor Doom be a match against Thanos?

Dr.Doom is easily one of the strongest and badass villain in Marvel, but the cinema made him look weak.
He’s powerful but Not as powerful as thanos

There would be no real way Thanos could defeat Dr Doom with or without the infinity gauntlet. He’s defeated Galactus, beat Thanos before, and even fought Darth Vader. He’s basically immortal.

I feel like you undersold just how powerful Dr. Doom really is. In the comics, he survived two blasts from the Infinity Gauntlet with all of its crystals loaded in, and still trash-talked Thanos after the second.
This is a fan fiction story line so it will not fall in line with the comics.

I know marvel comics ranks Read Richards as the most intelligent person on the planet. But putting that aside, Victor Von Doom would come in at a close second in Intelligence, however I think he would best Read Richards in Creativity and Ingenuity. He's created and mastered technologies that blow Read's mind! And as smart as Read thinks he is, others can rival him. Tony Stark in fact playing a game of chess with Read while holding a deep conversation put him in check, simultaneously across 10 game boards. Read never saw it coming.

as someone who has followed the progression of CG over the years it's almost hard to believe how much it's improved in the past 20 years. not just for games but in live action movies. in another few years flesh and blood people and animals will no longer be needed in movies and tv programs.

With Thanos gaining so much popularity and doom still being underrated imo. Thats why this was animated for thanos to win. If Thanos had all stones. Yeah he would easily defeat doom.
But with only one or two stones. I really think doom would of won especially if he had one of the stones or worse case draw/stalemate.
Doom = Iron Man + Dr Strange + Reed Richards.
Thanos = evil and more intelligent purple hulk with armour who simps over a girl.
Doom would have to outhink Thanos to stand a chance.In a straight up fight Thanos would one shot Doom easily.

Dr dooms magic is as good if not better than Dr strange in his own ways. Getting one shotted is gonna be hard when you can warp time, summon portals and conjure dimensions and emit black holes I reckon.
Edit: also not to mention Dr doom uses force fields a lot. I've read that his force field whether it was from magic or his armour or put together is stronger than the Susan storm and Phoenix force.
Then let's say he does make a mistake and get hit. His armour is on par with iron man if not better. That's enough defense to withstand a blast from 1 infinity stone.

Dr. Doom needs to be the main antagonist of the MCU's phase 4. Well, either him or Galactus. They're the only 2 who can top Thanos (Dr. Doom as a villain mastermind, Galactus as a destructive force). Well, there are other powerful Marvel villains too (Dormammu, Mephisto, Kang etc.), but those 2 are iconic and could easily carry a movie phase like Thanos. Magus could work too, but he needs too much set-up (Adam Warlock hasn't even made his grand entrance in the MCU yet).
This is something we'll probably have to wait a long time for to see in canon, but I'm glad someone could do this.

We're seeing a "Dr. Doom" who has the space stone, against Thanos who has two stones currently in his possession. Reality, and Power.
I'd bet money on that, Dr. Doom has literally beaten the avengers and the fantastic 4 at the same time and won, beaten the incredible hulk with one hit, demolished Galactus, and his armor can absorb energy attacks and very durable to the point were he has survived attacks from Thanos himself with all the stones.Not only that Dr. Doom has more experience than Thanos because he went back in time and learned magic or sorcery in its earliest state for centuries. So not only does Dr. Doom have beaten greater feats than Thanos he also has more experience, power, abilities, and he's even wiser than Thanos. Dr. Doom can resist any type of mind control and even mind control other people. Dr. Doom just has so many options and abilities in his arsenal that I am 100% sure he can beat Thanos if Thanos has 2 infinite stones.

Inaccurate. Doom could not be Thanos unless he’s Emperor Doom. You’re making him OP and failing to realize he has less experience than Thanos and ultimately if we go the comic book route Thanos would be able to handle his own against Doom. As Thanos has struck Galactus with an energy blast.
If Doom again was “God/Emperor Doom” then he’d have a very high successful rate at winning. Dr. Doom possess telekinesis/Magical powers but Thanos is literally considered an Eternal. You’re matching the Avengers and Fantastic 4 to Doom. That’s fine. But Thanos easily handled The Avengers and almost wrecked them without the infinity gauntlet.
Thanos would beat Doom having the Power Stone and Reality. We’re seeing a basic Dr. Doom that has possession of the space stone.
You’re also referencing he beat Galactus which you’re failing to mention he had the Space Stone/ The Sacred Helix/ The ultimate machine.

considering iron man took the power stone pretty well with minimal damage, it's safe to say DR. Doom would've brushed it off. Also he would snap Thanos' blade in an instant but if the story you want to tell demands nerfs i wont judge
