Are you eligible for a Chinese green card? Tell me your story! Also, find out why you should get yourself a social insurance as a foreigner working in China: th-cam.com/video/46OOK8KzAvw/w-d-xo.html
The issue is each city is different.. I'm married for over 10 years having a house but still under visa. I'm in Dalian, very disappointed to be honest. Why? According to here it's not easy to get this card. Think about it if ur having a child it's almost hard to live here, because in order to work u also need to go through a process to get z visa. I hope this PR get even easier in the near future. But I highly doubt it.
@@basvh666 - I don't think you need to be rich, but you need to be upper middle class by Chinese standards. How many people can afford to put 200,000 RMB in a bank for a year?
My wife get a chance to complete his Phd in Hunan, China but can she get spouse visa for her family? Is there any restrictions to get spouse visa in Hunan province Changsha
Good information thanks. One question here. For someone who is married to Chinese and have a child (who is Chinese), make a difference in applying for permenant residence in China?
Yes, But still quite hard, 1. should be married for at least 5 yrs. 2. Every yr should be living in china for at least 9 months, for 5 yrs straight. 3. Has a residence in china And a source of income. And also: pass the health check, And don't have any criminal record abroad.
To get a Chinese green card, the most important thing is that you need to make a significant contribution to China, a significant investment, which can take up to ten years or more.
@Ziv, it would be great if you can interview an Estate Planning attorney in China at some point. My dad has two properties in Guangdong, he wants to leave them to me. How can that be done without me needing to go to court there? I understand the probate process much better in the US, but have no clue how it is done in China. I think a lot of oversea Chinese would be interested in this topic.
Planning to apply in half a year, will be 5 years of marriage by then. Heard different opinions about it from it's impossible to get it to it is possible. Still have a feeling like it's a lottery even if you meet the requirements,
as a married person, do YOU need to have a stable income in those 5 years ? or your family. let's say i havent worked but my wife has an impressive tittle and income. that is good enough ?
That's a good question. I think after you passed 18, it gets harder. Either way, even if you can us your dad's nationality as a factor, I assume you must be in China for a long time to qualify. It's a residence, meaning you actually reside here.
USA green card and China green card is not similar btw. USA one is permanent and we can apply easily..Its like lottery. but China green card is for 10 years.
Its not the case . American green card is 10 years too , and for marriage less than two years. They give you a temporary green card first, after two years you have to apply again
But even this card is not really permanent !! it is only for 10 years and God knows what will happen after 10 years. The problem is laws are not defined really in mainland .....

I applied in March... Been in China for 12 years, married for 9, same city for 11, same job for 8. My French friend just got it...
Really I need one Chinese
Can students be eligible??
The system seems similar to that of the US, but more restrictive.
Very true. It's difficult, but not impossible!
china is only for chinese. def more restrictive unless you renounce your old nationality
What about Article 15? What are the qualifications under Article 15?

Hi
My wife has Hukou in JiangXi, but we live in Ningbo. We have to apply in JinagXi, I know. But do we need a fixed address there too??
I don't think you need a fixed address there.
Do u think black people's will be in peace to live in China
I think so, if you can find a way to live here legally.
Yes but some people are looking for problems or bringing them wherever they go.
China doesn't like blacks. We'll send them back to Africa.
Is Ziv Glikman applying for a Chinese Green Card ? *just curious*
Not eligible yet...:(
