Just heartbreaking. To think that poor baby lived in pure fear for her brief 10 years just crushes my heart. I will never be able to wrap my mind around the type of evil that compells one to harm an innocent, beautiful child. Excellent vlog as always Jordan. I loved the Italy videos too!! So great to see you, Jah & Scott all together for today's vlog!!!

I was working my first job at the Vogue Theater (secondary theater) in Kansas, when The Land Before Time ran. I was only 6 years older than Judith. Her voice as Ducky was the cutest little voice ever. Her death was jarring. Finding out details years later, was devastating. Bless her heart. She and Heather O’Rourke’s deaths just stick with me. 💔

I can remember when this happened. So very sad. Its nice to keep her memory alive. I hate that their abuser did this and then couldn't be brought to justice because of the POS he was. People who think Its so easy to leave an abuser have no idea just how hard and scary it is. So many don't escape alive. I've lived it and I am fortunate that I did survive. Breaks my heart but I will always speak out against abuse. Thank you for yet another wonderful video Jordan.

My mother married a psycho when I was 3. He
Beat me bloody for what he called G.P. s: general principles. I was taken to the hospital many times unconscience.
When I was 18 I joined the Marines and he tried to attack me again.
I beat him to a pulp with my baseball bat.
My mother finally divorced him and he died
      Less than 20 years later.
Ladies, at the first sign of trouble don't make excuses for the punk, just run away. You don't need the trouble and neither does your children.

One of the reasons she wasn't saved eventually is that her mother hesitated due to the fear of losing their belongings, she was constantly blindening the actual social worker that she has already launched the divorce procedure so their case was dropped. If Maria had chosen her child over her fortune Judoth would be still alive. Both were victims but Maria was corrupted by Judith's success... Judith was betrayed by everyone in such a vicious way...

    • @morrius0757
      @morrius0757 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@beverlyarcher3744 I want to address this as a child who suffered from abuse from one "parent" and loved from another. The reason moms have a hard time leaving is because the threats from the abusive spouse seems real and in Judith's case were real. My moms Ex was constantly telling her that if she ran he'd hunt us down and kill me and my brother in front of her. You got to understand that with sick fucks like that, mothers often see that the only way their children can survive till adulthood and escape is to just live with the abuse because the alternative is your child being killed. I never once blamed my mother, she protected me the best she could given the circumstances. Thankfully she got the courage to end it and bought a gun and pointed it at him and said leave and never come back, and luckily he was a coward more than an abuser and valued his life.

He controlled majority of their funds, and had full power over her Visa. She and Judith’s belongings were also in his possession. She went to the LAPD multiple times. They didn’t believe her. Tried CPS. CPS were too lazy to care or act. She told her friends and neighbors how evil Josef was. But They didn’t think it was all that bad. Josef had told his friends that he was going to kill his Wife and Daughter so that nobody could save them from his power. His friends thought he was only kidding.

Laura Strobel I can understand. My dear Late Grandmother was a Battered Woman. My Grandfather mercilessly beat her and abused her. She separated from him but never bothered divorcing him. At her funeral in 2017, I took a Sharpie and removed the “Mrs” from her obituary. It was insulting to me. In the 60s and Early 70s, she struggled with severe Alcoholism and although she kept going to the San Antonio PD, they didn’t care or do anything. Battered Women are psychologically controlled by their abusers. Thank you Mam so much for becoming a victor and standing up to your abuser. And I agree, My heart aches so much for María and Judith. However such a sad, sad story about Judith and her mother. Made me tear up. Why do some people can’t see who and what they really are, I always wonder? A lot of it is mental issues, or people just ignorantly mirroring their own parent(s). However, when someone abuses another, why can’t they simply see what they’re doing?! Hopefully Judith’s story here can be used to detect and prevent other abuse. If your vlog even detects and/or prevents just one other child or spouse abuse, it will be worth the tears over this tragedy. That is what I’m hoping for. Cheers, Jeff. 🙏🏻

I remember when it happened 😪
JAWS ( 1975 ) is my all time favourite movie and because of that my son is named Brody but if we had a girl we were going to name her Thea after Judith’s character in JAWS the Revenge as she was so sweet. RIP Judith 🙏❤️

Amanda Johnson No....not a "mistake". I don't do much traveling any more because of the attitude of TSA and customs. I grew up traveling, actually miss flying, but too many power trippers in charge now. I don't even wear my ankle brace at the airport any longer when I do have to fly, as I have been treated pretty badly by TSA because of it.

In the late 90's, early 2000's, I was talking to someone that knew the family. The truth is that Jozef wanted Judith out of the business. While Judith was filming Jaws 4, it was so bad that she was pulling out her eyebrows, her manager noticed, and tried to get her help. Jozef had threatened Maria and Judith, saying that if they didn't return from filming Jaws 4, he would kill them. Her manager turned it over CPS, they visited, but failed to do a follow up.

Hi ,are you going to do a vlog on Baby Peggy aka Diana Serra Cary (born Peggy-Jean Montgomery), who passed away this week aged 101? She was the last of the silent era stars and although she had short career in film had a fascinating life and was a great advocate for the rights of child actors. Keep up the good work!

Heartbreaking. Judith’s dad was a typical monster abuser. A young life and loving mother’s life taken in such a violent way by a monster who was a coward too. My sister was abused too. Scott said it right. God bless all who came together to get such nice markers for them. May they never be forgotten. Glad you got home safe. Jah was happy to see you. I’ve subscribed to Scott’s channel recently. Thank you for telling the story of Judith and Maria .

Those guys at the airport truly believe they're super cops. I know officers that can't stand them. I understand they're just doing their jobs, but when they start being jerks about it, it irks you! We almost missed a flight because of them! We were tired and had to drive 4 hours during the night to the airport. Get on the plane no problem. Have a 2 hour lay over so we went for food. Came back and every single security gate had to swab both of us. One security woman saw this happening and me getting upset and came to our rescue. She said "Ok, are we NOT paying attention? They're fine! 10 swabs and searches is crazy!"
