Was only theory crafting mono ice primes with my brother today and this drops. Perfect timing! Came to many of the same conclusions as yourself. Opus 24 has been very kind to Ice!
Sure! Our notable inclusions/differences were a full set of Weiss/Nero because it's just so strong and consistent in many matchups (plus more ex bursts!). A pair of O21 Y'Shtolas, as it's great removal in Ice. Perhaps Clive/Ifrit replaces it, but there could be an argument to play both. A pair of Yunalescas and, as you mentioned in your video, a copy of the O21 Shiva. We haven't tried it yet, but I also think Anima from the last set is worth considering, especially as Ice now has additional haste options. It's such a strong finisher, and I think it has decent synergy with Clive. Anyway, great DTT, great deck. I'm looking forward to the next one.
Love seeing Clive and the gang become cards! Speaking of Ice, is the Ice/Lightning Turk deck still viable? If so, does the deck change to accommodate the current format?
I'm not sure what Turks deck you mean specifically. If you're playing, like, *all* the Turks, Tseng and Elena etc, that deck is a bit of a meme. There are certainly faster, and more disruptive, aggro decks. But the core of Pres Shinra, Cissnei, and Rufus is still a backbone of most Ice/Lightning decks. In Mono Ice, it's possible to play the O20 Reno and Rude in a much more aggressive playstyle.
@YunaYoungTeam I'm specifically looking at Lightning/Ice Turks. I really like it, and I was curious if it was still viable. With Jill and Torgal, I wanted to be sure nothing like that was added.
What do you think about Fire/Ice deck with Taivas Warrios? It was pretty good during my tests. In all Priming decks I have the same issueso far, I feel like I have an awesome hand with primes but Priming during that specific turn feels like a waste. Its difficult to explain.
Tough call. If you take it too slow, Water will overpower you. So, playing somewhat faster than they do is important. This is a matchup where 7CP Kurasame *really* shines.

I'm glad to hear that you agreed! Love to know of any differences.

Don't forget, Zenos also triggers if you send one of your opponent's primed dominants to the BZ when the Eikon hits BZ and RFGs, too :)
LASSWELL MENTIONED 🎉
Thanks for the video Steve! What do you think the chances are that one of the mad lads shows up with this in Japan?
Very, very high. It's excellent.
This looks so fun to play. I was playing a mono ice L6 deck back in opus 14

Whats the difference between something like this and something that would play Dion and Bahamut XVI?

Hi, how good against mono water is an early rufus? In General whats the strategy for this deck against that beast of a deck.

LFG
I will go to my grave saying torgal was a mistake
Haha, yeah, it's quite odd seeing a card like this, yet not at a Tyro kind of cost.
It's a very powerful tribe to get a Shinju kind of effect.
