I just tried out a deck with some of the suggestions you've made. Damn, I love this deck! So much fun to play and the icing on the cake is that it's based on my favorite Final Fantasy.
Really nice list you put together. I love how demanding the deck is to the player, forcing you to choose the right tools for the situation to put aggression on the opponent. I'm definitely gonna test it out, although my friends at locals despise my overall aggressive play style, already. However, I just love to go all out on a minimal setup, having additional tools for certain situations. Probably the most compelling deck in Opus 20 for me.
Great video! I was waiting to watch it whole day to hear justification for 5 Celes. Again the sample hands all aimed ad the new one, but as I finally put my hands on the older one I am going to play it anyway :)
Cant argue with a deck this consistent. But I do not understand the interaction with Andoria at all. Locke's ability is where that point of damage is coming from, not the party. Can you elaborate on that? Maybe this isnt the best forum for this type of question haha. I will post something in a FB ruling group. Thanks as always for the video!
Really nice! I was curious how you were gonna build it. I wana try ice/wind with ff6. Not sure how well it will play but I’m gonna try and make it work.
I really wanna push the ice water version, but that one is more of a summon heavy deck (with light Terra + Madeen), tho it gets some great cards to push the party attack sode of the deck with Andoria as you mentioned, and opus 12 Yuna One detail about Setzer is that the faq states that it works the same as shinju on soirees although the text reads like Noctis, or at least that was the conclusion we got on discord about it
Nice one! 😀 So far, several versions of FF6 look & play absolutely bonkers with the new cards. Andoria draw 2 off Locke is just sick and Strago is also just so good, insane top end. Meta will show if we can afford to go for it or if a consistent version like yours has a better winrate on average...
Been watching this channel for years and I always appreciate these type of videos thank you for making them

Would love to see another ittiration of this deck in the newest opus, could I still play this list currently or what changes would you make?
I've tried it a bit with 3 Nelapa and 2 of the new Kefka, but it didn't feel amazing.

Scary deck. Definitely need to keep this deck in mind when building my non-meta deck. Thank Steve for another deck tech. Love these vids
any chance you’d build a mira monster deck to show off?
