In my opinion this is the best she's ever sounded. In pop a lot of singers are pressured to misuse their voice and have an unnatural vocal trajectory, "peaking" in their 20s and declining from there. Beyoncé has somehow managed through good technique, evidently great vocal practices + a clean lifestyle, and not releasing TOO many projects, to have a vocal trajectory more similar to professional singers before the "pop megastar". Like opera singers traditionally, where you can have a career in your 20s but knowing the voice generally isn't fully developed, and improving in 30s and peaking in 40s & even 50s. Lost a bit of ease at the top as is normal (age PLUS childbirth), but the voice sounds almost twice as large in its middle-upper mid & agility, transitions, and everything else are better than ever.
I think she’s always been consistent though, I just that she’s always been an Messo alto. With age, mult pregnancies, and longevity that it’s made her range more rich and darker.
Some people have more than three kids and they are still Sopranos with high light voices. So it doesn't really always change everyone's voice type. Ik some mezzos who's voices got higher from pregnanc. So it's some.
Yall know Beyonce is a mezzo right??? Being able to consistently belt up to Eb5 and extending to E5/F5 is crazy for a mezzo. And the fact that she's belting full C5/C#5 with ease and fully supported is mindblowing. Again, shes not a soprano, this is a crazy feat for her vocal type at her age.
She's still naturally a soprano, who deepened into a mezzo and she's preserve her vocals so she's still going to be able to go up to a G5 like when she did I Care for Homecoming and Freedom Perform live.
@@Kiswenndiayour voice type does not change, Beyoncé has always been a mezzo just not with a harsh tone.. now after having twins her tone has darkened and matured.
Great show. Love that she's belting alot less now because shes getting to an age where vocal preservation is key. She already proved she can belt. She doesnt need to do it every tour.
Love her hv, clearly she has all of her range in tact up there, love her belts even more now, her mid belts specifically tho have just gotten incredible now, I loved that she’s shown she can still hit them high notes aswell as showing us her new profound warmness up and at the bottom of her range.
i’m actually so curious to hear your thoughts on the tour vocally! i feel she’s evolved completely vocally and got all her superpowers back! i personally don’t think she’s been this clear in tonality since the Mrs. Carter tour. Great video nonetheless!🖤
I love her chest voice, her head voice and her fucking melisma. Even when her voice is more mature, she is still the best vocalist of our generation along with Lady Gaga, Pink and Kelly Clarkson. I love Renaissance álbum so much ❤
Though she definitely held back vocally a lot played a lot of things safer then usual she still did amazing and 100% the videos do her no justice the resonance in person is absolutely crazy I also believe she used her agility a bit differently this tour I also liked it I wonder what’s next

Beyonce is a contralto. Her C#5 is head register, it's not chest sound. Beyonce is a queen of vocal. If she will want she could add androgynous sound but it's not necessary.
I don't think some of you understand notes maybe.... " playing it safe" she hasn't been belting like this since her MRS Carter tour, ( in my opinion ) Formation tour, OTR 2, most off her songs were taken 1 or 2 keys down back then, even down to Cochella I would say she was playing a bit more save and " mixing" ( mixing is a vocal term if you didn't''know) notes instead of belting notes, like she is on this tour come of it..
Didn't watch the whole video yet but I just wanna thank you so much for the hard work you've put into this video ❤❤❤ like 30 minutes!!! I missed Beyoncés long vocal range videos so much!!!
what's her "supported" range for this tour? the C#3s sound really good but the D3 not so much. some of the many Eb5s and some E5s sound good. I can't really tell above A5, i would say most Bb5s sound good but not so sure about B5s... I can't really tell when she adds distortion to her belts or head voice. the C6 sounded good imo. she's showing out on this tour!
she was definitely consistent supporting her belts to C#5-D5 like pretty much every single one and a lot of eb5 s i’m not sure about the E5s tho and her eb3s were definitely supported and i would argue that the c#3 is as well definitely up to bb5 in headvoice and i would say a few (maybe around half) if the B5s i’ve heard sound supported soooo C#3-E5-B5

@@whitneyhouston1122what sense does it make for a low sop voice to drop to a mezzo voice from drinking? Doesn’t make any sense.
