I was 16 yrs old in 94, New York City, when i saw Selena in the Johnny Canales show. She was singing the song "No Debes Jugar". At that time, i use to listen to Hip Hop, Salsa, and R&b music. But Selenas dress style, and performance caught my attention and i was an instant fan. It makes me happy that even though many yrs has passed, new generation love her music.

Ngl I think she did the best tribute.. Obviously she isn't Selena but the fact that she kept it classy like Selena and didn't try to out sing her or anything she kept it simple is what makes this tribute beautiful. It makes you feel like she's not famous just a fan singing and dancing in the middle of her living room singing these songs.
