a year back i got in an argument with my girlfriend. we were best friends firsts and partners later. i still remember that night very vividly when i got carried away by my anger and said some mean things and brokeup with her. i didnt know that one decision was irreversible. till this day i regret that moment and the lyrics “Where did I go wrong? ,I lost a friend, Somewhere along in the bitterness " hits different. My real name is actually Zach as well, and I remember in my sophomore year i went through something somewhat similar to your situation. I’m not trying to play the therapist or anything because I don’t know the entirety of your situation but I encourage you to try praying to the Lord and trusting in Him if you haven’t already done so because He never turns away anyone who puts their hope in Him. In my sophomore year i was struggling with the fiercest despair and depression i had ever known after that woman abandoned me out of nowhere but Jesus put me back together again and lifted me up out of the pit. There was still suffering, and even now some times it hurts but Christ had given me a hope that cannot be taken no matter what. He even helped me to forgive that woman who hurt me. Jesus loves you and wants to give you rest so go to Him, seek His will and you will find an end to despair. I’m proud of you for hanging on and having the courage to share your struggles since it really reminded me of when all of that stuff happened to me, and how there was light at the end of the tunnel because Jesus assisted me. i’ll be praying for you.

I got trauma, PTSD, severe depression, and attempted, and am still suffering This song was soo relatable to me back then, and it just brings memories of me sh-ing and screaming and crying.
