Danni, I’m so happy for you that you got to take a much needed vacation with your best friend! You truly deserve to be happy and I enjoy watching your videos and learning from you. Thank you for your knowledge and most importantly thank you for the entertainment. Keep doing you Danni!❤
See the trick is... fly out, drive a rental back with all your goods! Thank you so much for tagging us along. I am really interested in your basket case...lol puns intended! When you hot me hooked on WN I ran across a lady that buys estate leftovers and storage. She bought an estate where the elderly couple had been missionaries for years. They had a bunch of items they used to take to churches back home to show and tell about their travels in Africa, so they could get funds and other items ready to go again. So the items I bought have little papers telling, where, when and materials. I bought a couple of nice grass baskets for $1 each. No other interest in them. I'd really like to learn more about them. Right now I have them bagged in the closet away from my cats.
Hi Danni - I learned last week that I am being laid off from a big company after 9 years. I'm 71 and I'm tired of the corporate life. Thanks to you (and a few other TH-cam resellers), I have a new lucrative and interesting job ahead of me by being a thrifting reseller! I started watching you before the pandemic, and I was hooked. I've watched a lot of videos and I've done a lot of research, and other folks say that I have a "good eye" for finding good stuff. My problem has been that I've been too busy working the corporate job to get organized and motivated to post and sell things. Well howdy...that has now changed. I'm looking forward to selling things locally (not on eBay, etc.) because if I had to box up and ship items, I'd become more bogged down than I am now. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you have most positively impacted my retirement life. Bless your little heart (from Texas).
I live not far from this Renningers flea market. It is fabulous and I go there often with my kids when they visit me. It’s really so much to look at this. Glad you’re enjoying it.
So, so many amazing things Danni. I’m starting to appreciate things that I wouldn’t buy, and maybe don’t even like, ALL because of the information that you give us on these pieces. It makes me realise that everything should be valued and appreciated for what it is. Thank you ❤.
The antique store was almost like being in a museum. So many beautiful things, too many to really take them all in. So happy that you got to get away & spend time with Dawn.
Wow..I have been following you Danni for about a year plus..I am so excited that you found a precious friend in Donna..She has made you come out of your shell so to speak..I love the subtle changes you are going through..The joy you have in your voice when you are with her is absolutely fantastic .I love the rings and you new found joy..You are a hard working mother and woman and just thought I would tell you .keep on smiling and forget the rude or ill mannered people you come across. I love you videos ..many blessings to you
Loved this episode Dani! I snowbird to Florida for the winters and I found some great antique places in my area. ( Port St Lucie). I’ve learned so much from watching your videos, but I only buy for myself. Now I know I may have to take a trip up to Orlando next year to browse!
This was such a fun video! What a great antique store and all the booths!!! WOWZA!!!❤ It is so nice to see you having a great time with your friend. Take care and God bless.😊
Everything is so beautiful. But I kinda enjoy it more when you go to yard sales. I love seeing you get those wonderful great deals. Looking in here it’s neat that you’re sharing your knowledge. It’s just I’m going in shock over the prices. Thank You for sharing your experiences.
Omg those lamps are breathtaking 😊 Love your turtle and heart rings ❤ they are so you! When I was in my 20s and 30s, I had over 100 sterling rings that I was obsessed with. My daughter loved them since she was little. So on her 25th birthday I gifted most of them to her... now she wears them all the time, which makes me so happy 😊 She had them appraised for insurance reasons, and some of them were worth a crazy amount of money. That colored chandelier is stunning ❤ and those purses 👛 are amazing!
I was so surprised to see the back end of an elephant (I think) thank you for sharing your trip with us. ❤ my favorite part was all the 50’s lamps/ shades.
Danni, I thought you were picking up that Piano baby! I used to collect antique, mostly German, bisque dolls, and the piano babies fell into the doll category bc they were made by a German doll maker by the name of Gebruder Heubach. ( His piano babies sell better than his dolls) Later ones were made in Japan, but they never matched the beauty of the German ones! You won't find a mark on the bottom of them. Somewhere on the back of the figurine, you'll find a little round mark, usually in the baby's clothing, and inside the round stamp, is a sun sign with the DEP in it also ( deposé, meaning imported) The little round makers mark was part of the mold, so it was not something that could fall off, it's always there! For the longest time, I also restored and restrung the composition body dolls, as many, who had been well loved and stored away forever, their elastic rope that connected the body parts and the head together, would disintegrate, or the sleep eyes, that were tricky to fix, but were set in the eye sockets with plaster of Paris! But it was such an accomplished feeling to know that you had put someone's treasured family heirloom back together! Unfortunately, the antique doll market dropped severely around 2008 - 2009, and doll values plummeted! I was fortunate to have sold off a large part of my collection just prior to that, bc ironically, while my children were growing up, if they told me that my dolls were creepy, I'd tell them to get over it! LOL But as soon as my first grandchild came along and told me they were creepy, that was it! They all got taken down and sold! Except for a couple of tubs that I kept, but have been put away for years now! Anyway, I always love to see someone else with a passion for dolls as I have had! That antique shop that you and Dawn went to was absolutely the best! Have a safe trip home! ❤
Wow, Danni, this has been so exciting. You and Dawn are obviously smitten by looking at all the beautiful things on offer .I love so many things it would be overwhelming unless I kept some control like you do.Also, I really enjoy it when that treasure you're looking for is hiding in the thrift stores ect
Love your teal ring i wear the same style lol and that color on your nails is the same color i wear your a blessing to me. How you keep up and positive attitude enjoy Florida ❤California
Thank you to you for making such good videos so that we can watch thank you cause I have no way of going drifting and I appreciate the videos you put out
FYI the Fenton color is called Orange Rose. You saw the yellow case ruffled bowl with the orange color inside. That style is known as a daffodil and it came in white with yellow inside rim or the yellow with the orange rose color.
Danni I love that doll! I know you couldn't pick it up... I have some older ones.. but I think my oldest one is 1940s... And I have a baby Carrie drink wet and cry with her original dress and bottoms... But not shoes socks and bonnet they were added on.. I dress all my babies with older clothes best I can... I have my 1940s boy with my late Fritz's baby shoes... I collect baby dolls... And people have told me cover them up they freak me out lol...
I love the mount Dora Renningers mall. There is another one in Melbourne. I find more bargains in the one near Melbourne Fl. Lots of other great places to find similar things . I have purchased and asked the vendors to ship to me. Something to consider on your next trip.
Loved loved all the gorgeous items at the antique mall. I know you were going crazy wanting things. Next time, take a non return flight and rent a large SUV. Than haul your goodies back. Thx for the great video!
Wow wow wow Danni, so many beautiful amazing treasures, not forgetting the pieces of stunning furniture, I would need a few thousand dollars to spend in there, quite a few thousand lol, I wonder too how and where the vendors find such treasures, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
