We have been spreading manure and plowing it in . We had a warm up the last 3 days so we have been hard at it . We run 3 tracked tractors a case 580 quadtrac a johndeere 9570rt and johndeere 8370rt our 2 johndeere s680 combines are on tracks as well . In our area of southern Michigan - northern ohio we really don't see many tracked machines but every year we see more of them . We have some heavy wet soils but we primarily run tracks for the compaction reduction and smooth ride . Those disk rippers work excellent we run 2 of those but ours are the newer design. Nice video stay safe and keep on keeping on my friends !

We built a tractor, whoops we forgot the exhaust look.
If you've ever sat in the cab of one you actually can't even see the exhaust on these tractors.
We run the same tractor pulling a 24 row Kinze planter. After going through two sets of 18 inch tracks in 5 years we switched to 24 inch tracks this year. They are still looking good and still fit between the rows. The small wheels are twice as wide with the 24 inch tracks and seem to distribute the wear better on the inside of the tracks. Time will tell.
I am a BTP fan and a fan of Big Red machinery. But it would outwardly be so much better looking tractor without that 30 gal trash can muffler. Got to be a better way!

They look kinda funky with skinny tracks. Not something you see every day. It’s too bad that we aren’t very efficient with running over crop on the end rows. Great video BTP.

Wow there! When the farmer is spraying his corn crop, all is well, until he gets to the end of the field and the roads are no longer on the outside of the tires they're actually in the way and he just drives right over his corn plants like no care at all I'm thinking what day! So explain that to me why would you plant if the crop is going to be in the way of spraying when you make it turn at the end of the row? I'm not a farmer obviously but I don't understand the reason for having the crops go the wrong way or driving your tractor right over your crops either way I'm shocked😲 ! please explain!

Case tractor JD disc what a combination
We run a 8360RT and a 8230T we run our DB60 36R20in corn planter and our grain cart the 8230T we run a 40FT 1780 bean planter 24R20In then it’s a spare they both have fast tanks for putting on 32% nitrogen the 8360RT has 875 gallons tanks and the 8230T has 950 gallon tanks
Very nice line up. The 8230T is on the rare side for track models. Great tractor.

We run a 8360RT John Deere to pull a 26 ft Landoll VT with a trailed Quinstar rolling basket, a 30 ft Brillion mulcher, and a 16 row 30 inch Schlegel strip tiller with Lake State side mount 400 gallon fertilizer tanks.
Look like Christmas.
Does anybody know how the ground forces compare for a tractor like this compared to the equivalent with dual tires? Is the traction significantly better?

Do they switch the exhaust side from season to season?
The exhaust really isn’t a big deal from inside the cab. The way it’s angled you can’t even see it through the corner post.

At 5:13 there is one with the exhaust on the right.

It was handling it well. I have seen 9 shank 915 V rippers cause 620 hp 9Rs to stahl out. If the grounds hard enough it will stop a tractor.

I'm not a huge case fan I'd rather have a deere and it's December so why wasn't it harvested like at the begging of November
