In tales of the last war, it states that warforged were made by the giants since they are immune to the quori tactics. The quori then steal the tech from the dreams of giants. So, the idea of them being of quori origin is not definite. Also, the first adventure path for eberron ends with a giant creation forge not quori.

i read a fan explenation somewhere, that fatigue or exhaustion in their case is overheating
