- Latest firmware and I have tried everything I can think of. This doesn't seem to happen from the remote when CEC is on (still happens when using the power button on the receiver), but then I have other problems with it fighting any attempt at changing the input after power on (I have to wait about 15 seconds or it just changes the input back).
And please forgive the vertical video, I was trying to get both the TV and stereo in it.
Mine’s crazy too. Had to turn off CEC on everything.
Whenever I’d turn on the Denon to an input, it would change the input randomly to something else.
Hi gents I’m having the same problem with my denon AVR 4500H however it’s not as bad as what you are experiencing Dan, mine happens every now and again randomly. The sound has woken me up at times when I’m sleeping
I was finally able to fix it by doing a factory reset and NOT restoring my old config file. It sucks to have to start over on the configuration but I haven't had it happen since. You also want to upgrade to the latest firmware as it seems to prevent this from happening again (I haven't had it come back up in 3 years).
My firmware is up to date. When you say that you did a factory reset do you mean going into AVR settings and do a reset?
