    T100 Bonneville, on this video we look at the T100 and the differences compared to the Street Twin we tested last week. Subtle changes and the T100/T120 definitely suits the taller rider. I really like the clocks on the T100 not keen on the silencers but can be changed and I would put a grab rail onto the back of the seat also it is nice to see a decent sized pillion seat too, which is quite rare think these days .All the same I would be struggling to chose between this and the Street twin so will continue to watch the rest of your review but come next season I may well be trading in for one or the other I hope . Good review cheers : )

    Nice comparison. I setted on a T-100 Gold Line. Love it. Making various cosemetic changes though. Can't help myself. 🙂. Center Stand, Sump Guard, MoroneCrash Bars, Halcyon Bar End Mirrors, Rear Grab rail, upgraded clock faces, (Arton Works), Brown leather seat, tires, black T-100 side panels. More to come. Mostly cosmetic. All the colors available are lovely. The motor and the gearing etc are great. I'm so happy I went with a Bonneville instead of a much smaller RE I was considering.

    I have a 2005 t100, and am totally happy with it. More chrome than yours, including chain guard. I noticed they extended the mirror stalks, i put factory barends on it.
    As for modes, I do believe that's an optional feature on the T100. Mine doesn't have any of the electronic bling, its fine, these bikes aren't race machines . They are standard on the 120, or any 1200 cc triumphs.
    Thanks for the ride, always like the scenery and seeing the newer models.take care.

    Just got a T120 Love it. It’s a great bike. I wouldn’t snub my nose at the 100, but the 1200cc w/6 spd. Wins it for me. Triumph really has a great line up bikes for every type of riding and virtually every rider type. I’m going to be looking at a Tiger next year for touring. Can’t decide what size on that one yet.

    ive watched quite a few vids on the Triumph range and some of the big riders make the even T120 look like a kids bike, me being 5' 6'' must be nearly the perfect proportion for all of the range, to me it actually feels quite big and chunky maybe that's why i like it so much. big up to the small guys. if i ever get a chance to sneak another bike past the mrs a street twin maybe the one to go for.

    One advantage that the T100 has over the Street Twin (or as they now ridiculously call it, the Speed Twin 900) is its full-size front mudguard. The ST's excuse for a mudguard allows all sorts of road gunge to be thrown over the radiator, exhaust ports and engine.

    I don't understand why here in Spain, the T100 is 1850€ more than the Street Twin. That's too much, I think.
    And I would say the aluminium wheels are more expensive than the spoke wheels. I don't think it's worth
    paying that much more for the T100. What do you think?

    • @MOTOUK1

      Totally agree, it's overpriced in Spain

    • @surdzo
      @surdzo ปีที่แล้ว

      1650 eur more expensive in Macedonia also, my opinion is that T100 shouldn’t have more than 1000 eur price difference so the pricing in UK is correct but world wide is not so. T100 is great bike but with 12.100 eur price tag this bike get in competition with bigger and better specs bikes like BMW R9T, Ducati Scrambler 1100 which sales in my country for 12.500-13.000 with dealers discounts (for comparison T120 and ST1200 14.800/15.000 eur), Triumph doesn’t offer any discount on their models. Maybe is just dealership policy not Triumph but that’s reality.
      So if Triumph wants volume, than Speed twin 900 should not be more expensive than 9990 eur and T100 10.990 eur T120/ST1200 not more than 12.990 eur, that would be fair price.
      In my country JLR have same pricing policy like Triumph and is completely beaten by German competition so same goes for motorcycles. And on top of it I think Triumphs are made in Thailand, at the same time BMW and Ducati in Germany/Italy something is wrong here for sure.

    Rather than say you like the spoke wheels over the cast, perhaps you could say WHY. I imagine it's because you prefer the "classic" look of spokes. Spoked wheels are substantially heavier and require inner tubes, adding even more weight. Frankly the T100 and Street Twin are too underpowered for spirited rides, but decent for bumming around town.
