His flamingo stance is extremely tricky to trigger though and outside of handy sidesteps it does not offer any other possible advantage. Moves that follow from the Flamingo Stance are just iterrations of Baek's usuall combos
Tekken 3 will always be my favourite as it had a lot of content plus free unlockable characters every time you complete the game with a character plus a bonus hidden character for completing tekken force with 3 different characters
So, we can say that Baek's classic flamingo stance was one of the very few moves that allow almost free sidestepping before sidestepping was introduced in Tekken?
My favorite part of these Tekken 2 TAS are the fight with Devil. One of the harder Tekken Bosses. Love seeing him get DESTROYED! Keep up the good work these are all awesome!
Seeing Baek again in Tekken 2 brings my nostalgic heart into great joy since I mained him (mainly cause of his 10-hit combos). Seeing TAS Baek avoiding everything makes me question everything, but still brings my nostalgic heart with great joy in confusion.
I suspect Baek just like Lee initially was a Law move-set-swap with some changes, Baek was a Kazuya move-set-swap with more focus on kicks and proof of this Is how him wave dashes into tsunami kick the same way Kazuya does into wind god fist 03:45
Baek has the Mishimas' 1,1 and 2,2 punches, their old school backfist, and basically all of their "Heel Drop" moves (f,F+3, f+4, d/f+4,4, and WS+4,4). He never really lost any of these tools, either.
Okay, I knew Baek Doo San was Marshall Law's rival in this one years ago. However, I didn't know exactly why. So he was being blackmailed into destroying Law's Dojo. Edit: 5:43 I'm sorry, but seeing Baek knocking down Devil with that final kick, before he could fire at him, was hilarious!
when i got this game all we did was playing vs. It wasn´t until later i discovered that i could unlock fighters. And after i had unlocked Baek Doo San i just wow´ed.
That little backwards jump he did over Michelle's power move cracks me up, it's the stuff my siblings and me would do by accident in a 1 in a 100 chance and laugh ourselves to death.
Kind of liking the fact that, my boy; Lei WuLong made you have to spam a few attacks to get away from him. Damn travesty that he wasn't a main character in Tekken 7.
This was the first Tekken I ever owned. I had the original Playstation and my cousin gave me this game because he got tired of playing it. As a child beating Kazuya was so fucking annoying lol.
Please excuse me if it's been done but I'd be interest in seeing a TAS bot play the Arcade Version of T2 due to it's extreme difficulty for the Kazuya and Devil fights. Tekken 2 is such a vibe. Everyone is so young and carefree, and none of the important characters are dead yet.

As well as Steven Seagal.
Anyway the outfit in the whole playthrough makes him even more similar to Robert Garcia.
