Well we’ll well, thank you guys for telling it like it is! Jon Bon Jovi is a control freak, his obsession was this band and the publicity machine was total controlled by Jon. I was a young 22yr old Norwich UK girl lucky enough to find financial backing to begin my rock singing career back in 1985. My manager ( who used to manage Flock of Seagulls ) and worked with Roxy music bumped into Ritchie Sambora in NY recording studio. Ritchie offered to meet up when they got to UK with a view to offer me a song as I had just released my first single Hungry Waters. Ritchie was so kind to do that. I met up with him in Ipswich on Slippery When Wet tour UK as it was nearest my hometown gig. All my friends were there and around. I booked into the hotel, went to breakfast and who was sitting there but Jon Bon Jovi! He asked me to join him & his security for breakfast I did. Half an hour later a knock on my room door it was Alec John Such a roadie and Jon Bon Jovi! They came in and were very much partying mood. Jon Bon Jovi then said “ all leave” it was like some cult leader had total hypnotic trance as they left my room. Next Jon wanted to err party with me but I turned him down. I was there for business to meet Ritchie but Jon was all about getting laid, but I hurt his ego by turning him down, but he tried very hard! And Dorethea was on the plane arriving so come on he was not innocent at all. Jon left my room but 10 mins later came back with erm you know what thinking that was why I turned him down. He was very angry now. Later, in the hotel bar he did something that I should have reported him for because he did something in front of all my friends there who witnessed it. To this day I’m affected by what he did. He was nasty telling me “I would only get the coach driver “ to sleep with after turning him down. . I met with Ritchie sambora who said that Jon told him NOT to work with me or offer me any song to record. He apologised but said “ look this Is Jon’s band what he says goes and apologised. This is the real man behind the vanilla that is Jon’s documentary even Ritchie has said which story is it to be recently so there we are. This is the real things that happened to me. All I wanted to do was sing, I was born with a disability and really tried hard to deal with that and have a career. A great listen guys! 💜💜💜
