I was really wishing we had put in at least a gas fireplace when it got down to 14 degrees recently 🥶. Then a friend told me about mirroring fireplaces up onto our 65” TV. Bingo!!! It makes the LR feel so much more cozy and if I use my imagination I can feel the heat😉. Thanks for sharing the warmth 😊😴

Casting a video like this to the TV is another way to enjoy the sight and sounds of a flame while protecting the air we share.
I will NEVER light another one of these fires again in the living room in the middle of the night while my sister is sleeping on the couch in the living room.🤔The last time I lit a fire in the fire place while she was sleeping on the couch, she woke up in a dead sleep, saw the glow and thought I had started the damn living room on fire.🔥🤨
The sounds of this video are the best regarding relaxation I've heard so far in these kinds of videos. Only tried a few by now and most of them you just heard they recorded a certain short span of time and then (badly cut) just put it on replay. This is different, also not such a "hysteric" burning sound, but nice and slow and just relaxing. I think this is the first one I'll try to actually play to fall asleep. :) Never done stuff like that but it's time to try. Very nice, thank you
I find your word "hysteric" to be perfect in describing some real fire's. I've seen a few myself, one looking like it had fire crackers in it! They're very unrealistic and not relaxing at all. Where this is like watching chocolate melt...so smooth, the way it looks and sound's is sooo relaxing. ❤ Great work 👏🏻

yup that's the point! Trying to be a little different than other videos. It's filmed at 120fps, which youtube can't play back, so since the video is rendered at a lower fps, it gives it a slow motion effect. I ended up liking it, it gives the fire a nice fluid aesthetic that I enjoy. It's looped because I only have a Canon M6 mark ii to film with and it can only record for 30 minutes at a time (some weird rule around cameras and video). I can also only record two 120fps clips before the camera processing over heats and has to shut down and cool off for awhile. So best I can do is loop it for now. Since this channel doesn't make any money to upgrade equipment, that's all I have to work with for the time being. I'd love to do full start to finish videos someday.
Yup it's sourced from Epidemic Sound - thought I'd experiment with what they had. I filmed at 120fps and that mode doesn't record sound live. And I've had trouble getting a good audio recordings direct myself. The end goal is to make the videos 100% original someday, but all in due time! Working with what I can meanwhile. Can't beat a real fire... if you tried... hot cinders would come raining down on you & once all the embers had settled you would realise you had conspicuously empty spaces above your astonished eyes where two eyebrows once resided...
I love this video except for the fact that I see a small blue dot near the top edge toward the right upper corner that I cannot explain. I've noticed it on both of my 43" TVs.
wth, that's so weird. Its way more noticeable when you're looking away from it but when you look directly at it it blends in with the black. It's tripping me out, now i can't sleep, so thanks

Ok it's nice, but it's the most artificial fireplace I've seen on YT and I've seen a lot of them. What did you do, slow it to about half-speed? We can do that ourselves.

i’ve been falling asleep to this video for 4+ weeks now, now i can’t sleep without it playing it became part of my night routine now

low the slow easy burn - sometimes I am not up to a "roaring" fire. This is great for when I want a gentler sound.
I am enjoying the slower 'fluid' look of the flames in the way I record it. Slows it all down so one can appreciate how magnificent it is.
