Browsing on Expobars & your vid popped up. Surprisingly I've the same setup at home with the Expobar Leva & Rancillio rocky. These machines are still going strong after 8yrs of use. 2 services on the Expobar for a clogged hotwater outlet due to lack of use & a personal hack to shimmed up (milo tin foil) the grinder's burr height due to wear to save money on replacement :)
Love it!! I am so inspired by others desire to not just throw things out and work out ways to keep them going. It helps when you buy a product that is built to last in the first place ;) The Expobars are like a diesel tractor, they just keep going.
Another lock down production. Hopefully will have the camera man back soon. Until then I have to say thanks to my boys Aidan and Evan for their help with filming during Melbourne's various lockdowns.
Thanks for making this video. I am looking at a good machine(well maintained and boiler replaced -2004 version). I had a quick question, how long does it take to heat up? Also, can I brew and steam at the same time? What are the disadvantages of this machine? Is 2004 version too old? How much USD $ would you pay for a machine like this 2004 model- office version. Thanks in advance
2004 with a new boiler. That sounds OK. I have no idea of price in the US for machines like this. You can steam milk and extract espresso at the same time. These machines are built to last.
Hello What's your news? I enjoyed watching your videos a lot, and I liked the idea of restoring old machines. I'm from Egypt, and we suffer here from the high prices of coffee machines, even the old ones are very high because of the greed of importers. Is it possible to Get a site for old machines at a reasonable price, or even you can help me with this, thank you anyway

Just picked one of these up off eBay for $560usd. 2008 model. We’ll see if it still holds up to expensive modern machines
