Kerry to Leitrim - First Trip to Ireland 2024

We managed to do so much on this day. Started at the Cliffs of Moher, then went to the Poulnabrone dolmen. An early Neolithic structure believed to be used for ritual, territory marker or burial site. Next was Galway, but we only got to stay for a few hours. Then headed to check out Sean's Bar, oldest pub in Ireland (potentially in all of Europe too!) circa 900 AD. Then made it to Carrick-on-Shannon in Leitrim in the evening to check out Cryan's pub for some music.

Good questions!! I think for this part of the trip, obviously the Cliffs of Moher were epic, both video and pictures don't do it justice. Galway was beautiful, but a little too touristy for me. I loved Carrick-on-Shannon

As for what surprised me the most was I think the weather lol. It was beautiful most of the time we were there and seeing...palm trees?! That threw me off a bit haha
