The level of service and hospitality visitors enjoy in Japanese hotels and ryokan is extraordinarily detailed, with care and attention lavished on things no guest will even notice. And all done without expectation of reward, since there’s no tipping in Japan.
This ideal of service, based purely on pleasing the guest, is thought to originate in the philosophy and traditions of the tea ceremony, and it’s a legacy that remains deeply embedded in the character of the people of Japan.

Japan Video Topics was Darwin's childhood favorite documentary from 2000 to 2011 on TV as being part of close friendship between the Philippines and Japan for more than 65 years of diplomatic relations from enemies to friends

In the U.S., its a different story. Fragile things will be a dust in the past.

Hello Japan Video Topics. I just wanted to ask if you have a copy of Japan Video Topics videos from the 80's? I am looking in particular for the video that featured the Super Mario Bros. videogame, the 80's toy expo and the one that featured the JaIB, Jack In the Box trick house.

Hi Cahos. Just like Seigh suggested, you might be lucky to find that very old copy of JVT 1980s edition in your country's Embassy of Japan library which is likely a VHS tape.

@@JapanVideoTopics If that is the case then I'd be more out of luck as my country has a poor track record of archiving old video media. We have even lost a few original reel copies of locally made movies from the 1960's and had to locate copies from abroad because of their incompetence 😡
