    Funny thing. I was looking for a six pack fridge for my bathroom like a year before the beauty fridge became a big thing. Definitely one of those rare times I was ahead of the times. I love mine.

    My first thought before the cosplay reveal... Alice is giving witchy aunt vibes. Love it! Speaking of cool sensations, do you have a routine for when it's hot af? My forecast says it'll be 100+ for the next week. Cosrx snail essence in the fridge has been a reason to live.

As cute as the skincare fridge is I have no room for it so I just take my eye masks and face masks and put them in the fridge when I want coolness on my face. Love your fridge and the stickers!💜💜💜

    I am loving the magical healer look on you. I like the idea of outfits that are like casual/modern takes on cosplay, especially when one is feeling the need for a boost it can be fun to channel a character! I hope you feel better soon.
    What I keep in the fridge has changed. I have always put my L-AA serums and tret in the fridge. My apartment became sooo consistently hot a few weeks ago that in a panic I put all my serums, my eye creams, and my sunscreens in the fridge as well. I've gotten the apartment temperature under better control now, but there is a long summer ahead, so I have this box and I am just in the habit of keeping whatever I can fit in there in the fridge (currently: C-Glow, Tret, A-Game 5, Peptide serums, Stratia Rewind, Eye Cream). Whenever it gets too hot I toss my sunscreens back in. I will probably wind up getting a skincare fridge when I find a good deal if only because my fiancé wants the space back! I would also like to be able to put some more products for that cooling sensation, but I am trying to be good and leave room for produce.

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I very much relate to that haha. I had a box in the fridge in our apartment (no need for a skincare fridge, it was 10 steps to the bathroom 🤣). I confess that box did start overflowing. One day Ara said to me, “why is there eye cream next to the butter??” 😆🤣 (in my defense, the answer was: it’s easier to get to than opening the box)
      You know I’ll post when I see the next deal on skincare fridges!

    I definitely keep my Vit C in my kitchen fridge. My place is so small so no room for a skincare fridge and really my big fridge is about 5 steps away from the bathroom. My husband is well aware not to mess with the stasher bags of skincare in their special spot in the door!! I use G&G Vit C and keeping it in the fridge and decanting a small amount really does help with oxidation. I am able to order two bottles at a time which also helps to build the order for free shipping.

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Oh I have to mention something about this facial roller I have! I ended buying one from Flawless that has the vibrations and comes with an attachment for your eye area and OMG that thing is amazing if you get those headaches that hurt behind your eyes. It takes a minute to get used to having a rose quartz stone vibrate around your actual eyeball but I swear it will truly help with those kind of headaches/aching eyes. I like them for lymphatic drainage and I'm just one of those people who will spend extra time with my skincare routine because I enjoy the process. 🙂

    Wow, so glad to find this, as I have been researching different cosmetic fridges for last 5 days because my products are taking up all the little shelves on the door,and then some in kitchen fridge. In this heat I don’t want to keep opening it, either…. I am expecting a blow up any day now from the fairly foul tempered man ( aka, husband) who I share home ( and fridge) with. I learned from you that maybe some of the products don’t need( or shouldn’t be?) in there. I have been storing serums, oils, essential oils, and makeup that I am afraid will deteriorate in my non climate controlled bathroom ( a/c only in parts of house and only evening) Anyhow, I still need a larger than 4 L size, and an LED mirror on it would make sense. So ,even though I scoffed at the concept when first exposed ( your recommendations forSephora or Ulta sale), I definitely have the need now!! 🙏🏽 PS. Glam look on this is gorgeous!

    As I work my way through all your videos, I apologize for the random comments everywhere! How cold does your fridge get, and is there a better temp in general? I seem to see ones that get down to the high 30s, and then skincare specific ones that stay closer to the 50s.
    I sort of care because in the summer our bathroom can get into the 70-80s, and I want to put things in there to protect my skincare and perfume investments!

    Hey...so unrelated to skin care fridges, what do you think of the new Ordinary Lash/Brow Serum? I've heard you talk about liking the prostaglandin analogs and wanted to hear your thoughts on the Ordinary's which appears to just be full of peptides (which I think I'd prefer.) Thanks for the input!

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mentioned that one in what’s new in skincare - I think a lot of people will enjoy it for that reason exactly!
      I have tried peptide based eye serums (most extensively, Dr. Lili Fans) - I saw results with consistency, although the length isn’t quite the same as with prostaglandin analogs. Still, they seem to contribute to volume and overall appearance of the lashes. And TO’s looks incredibly comparable for a fraction of the price!

    • @courtacular8850
      @courtacular8850 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AliceintheRabbitHole Good to know! I'll re-watch that video. A few years ago, I used Latisse for a few months while on Accutane because my eyelashes and eyebrow hairs were falling out! The Latisse helped them grow back quickly and longer than ever. However, when I stopped using the Accutane and also stopped using the Latisse, they fell back out again!
      So, I'm convinced that the safer and more effective (long term) results to gain a little length or volume or even just healthier lashes would be with peptides.
      Thank you again for the response!

      @@AliceintheRabbitHole apparently people that are into higher end skin care tend to like it and it has very good reviews. I have just straight up normal skin. Not much seems to irritat it at all. I generally have a 10 step skincare routine at night. I do the typical retinol and all that. I will say what I do not like about the U beauty serum is that it dried up my skin at first so I went to every other night. you really can't use anything else with it. I mean nothing. You can use an eye cream and a moisturizer but definitely no oils, no exfoliant, not even a toner. I had severe piling anytime I would try to use any other product, especially hyaluronic acid. And quite frankly I did not notice much of a difference in my skin. It actually seems drier.
