@@domination1985 I hear ya. Trying new food was really tough. We ended up going to a specialist and they did a scratch test to check I think 26 different allergens. It was very informative but was hard on him because his back inches really bad from where they preformed the tests. I highly suggest the test.

They had to keep him in the Hospital for 4 days. Kids get over broken bones and bumps and bruises well but when it comes to being sick and lungs are congested and they don’t have strength and stamina from working for years they have a limit and it’s scary. He didn’t have an Allergic Reaction. That’s a whole different Horror I’m Thankful to God for Chapel making it through. 🥲❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸

This is so much less complicated in Farm Simulator! All kidding aside, a lot of people have NO IDEA how hard farming actually is and how many long hours and frustration go into a crop! I’m on the east coast and in my area a 100 acre farm is a whopper here. I know you couldn’t park your equipment in that small of an area. Farmers have my utmost respect! I’m glad your son is okay! I went through something similar when I was 3-4 years old. Bees nearly killed me.

Nowadays farming is quite easy compared to 50 years ago. I used to farm too and the advancements in equipment and technology replace a lot of the manual labor that was prevalent in the 1960's-1980's. The combine cab especially is so much more comfortable as back then some combines did not even have a cab.....so imagine being in the harvest dirt and dust with no protection from heat either. Farm subsidies and direct payments also make it nearly financially fool proof. I had very little of that. My backup plan was cattle, hogs and late season planted forages to make up for a crop failure due to drought which doubled the amount of labor to make it in any given year. Didn't have subsidized crop insurance back then. So farmers have it pretty darn good nowadays....how else could they pay for the equipment.

Hi Mike and Ashtyn. I was happy to hear Chapel is all good. He's growing fast, wow. Mike this video is great. i loved your explanations of everything. I'm pretty amamzed at the volume of grain that combine can grab in one pass. I do often wonder how it is that John Deere, the experts of experts in this fancy equipment, has so many issues with their onboard computer systems. It almost seems like they're totally lacking in the electronics on these machines. We have 2 new 2022 vehicles with every electronic gadget I'm aware of. Both cars pratically drive themselves when we're out on the X-Way or on main roads in farm country. The electronics are amazing and (knock on wood) never go down. Anyway, thanks for sharing, and God Bless The Mitchell Family.

1.5 miles for a graincart round should be ok with your yields. Here farmers go 30-40 km/h with full carts. Especially on rolled fields it should be fine. 1.5mi = 5mins +unloading 4 mins and back... should work in 15mins.
Do you do more than 1600 bu/hr constantly? If not it should work out to be back at the combine in time.

Problem is it’s 3 miles of road time cause it’s down and back and when your full your “capped” at 10mph and ~20mph empty so averaging 15 mph is 12.5 minutes of road time for that 3 miles plus 4 minutes to unload the cart. And that is ideal your at 16.5 minutes.
