Maybe you can increase the camera height for casting purposes as well. So you can see more of the map at once and zoom in whenever you want details
One easy way is to use the GameData.ini file in the Ini folder and set the Max camera height to your hearts desire

Considering how dominant Boycah was that entire game, it was pretty impressive how long size was able to survive.

i dont know why but i still hope that the franchise is bring back to life and become popular and played in esport.
The ZH world series has over 128 signups and a $450 prize pool. We have lots of competitions, just not enough money to support players full time.

I honestly hope people don't buy the C&C remaster. That is probably EA's last attempt to milk the title for money. I mean why would anyone even pay for that? Its like the original but with slightly better graphics.
@@neonknight-1522 well, you get 2 games, plus all the expansions, plus the exclusive console content, and a working online componant, and a remastered soundtrack, and the ability to actually run them on a modern system, for honestly, a fair price on steam. and if it's an attempt to milk the franchise for money, they're doing it the right way, the community have been helping with the development since day 1.
I'm hoping it does well enough that Petroglyph (aka, Westwood) gets the chance to do the same for TibSun and RA 2.

As a gla if u build a power plant , your production and building speed are skyrocketing, so it is quite wise to steal a dozer, put a skeleton of power plant at your base and let the workers finish it.

Problem with laser general is that its units are unreliable. It would have been amazing if there were more than just laser crusader

Let's be real.. The battle between gla and usa where 1V1 will definitely be unfair.. coz gla has endless money whenever he destroys any unit.. As for the usa it will be relatively limited to Vees and tactical capabilities.. I see that SIZE was playing with more force than BoYcaH because of his ability to hold out all this time👏👏

Size's rocket humvees were getting hard countered by the rocket buggies, yet he chose to continue mass producing only those units
Talk about a player who can't adapt at all and only sticks to one strategy, mixing in some avengers would have helped kept his humvees alive significantly longer and allow them to take on the quad cannons and buggies easily, their purpose is not strictly anti air they intercept missiles at a very high rate

Kinda strange, that we didnt saw ay avengers... I mean he is Lazer General, so he had cheaper ones.

The infantry sneaks were frustrating to watch, but I suppose Size was too desperate and too spread thin to rat the spies out.
Honestly if the game was more popular, the game would be more intense

"Liquid Gold" is another name for "oil". Oil derricks are the theme of this map.
I've heard people refer to oil as black gold, but not liquid gold. Makes sense though.
Rocket Buggies kills are so satisfying

27:52 lemme break this down: the quad cannons are a pest against the missile defenders. with them gone, im not sure the many rocket buggies can easily kill any infantry

So its been a while since I played zero hour, but why didnt the USA Laser player not use any defenses? Dont they reveal stealth? I understand they are not great to spam, but I feel putting a few in the various bases to prevent stealth captures and underground tunnels might have been able to help.
Size would have been able to defend he's base better if he used the damn laser turrets, the laser general has actually a very good advantage against gla units

Whenever i hijack a dozer i immediately click to build a command center in my base, then use my worker to continue building it.

Rockets in humvees with a couple of snipers is an amazing combination anywhere.
Is there a shortcut to dropping and raising the sidebar? Might be good to figure out, as it does take up an annoyingly large chunk of the screen

Would have been lovely if stealth used more hijackers to take those humvess and at the same time send some saboteurs to disable those command centers to stop the airstrikes. Using more of bomb trucks and terrorist after a sneak attack works tooo instant kill.
Humvees are only a little cheaper and become significantly more expensive to loose once rocket troops are added to them so why go for them over laser tanks when you are literally playing the laser general?
Because laser tanks are slow and will get easily picked off by rocket buggies no questions asked.

Humvee+rockets are better than tanks. More mobility. May have been a random draw for SiZe.
Lazer tanks are so slow , rocket buggies will fire and go back in the tunnel while laser tanks end up watching them

Doesn't Stealth get demo traps still? I dont usually play Stealth but demo traps sounds like a calling card for any GLA faction. Would have worked well with the HIGH use of Humvees with no UAV drones and only started using path finders later in the game.
Killa Kam too much micro, you need to keep moving your workers. a better counter is the anthrax bomb or toxin general rebel ambush
But what about building them near enemy buildings instead of using the infiltrated workers only for tunnels?
@@Noldor_fury That was my point. His workers were only running around building tunnels, which isn't bad but he could have placed some demos in front or behind them. Makes your opponent really have to think about pushing your hard once they run into the first couple ones.
Generals is, if two players fight and GLA always wins.... :/
