- Hi friends, just wanted to let you guys in on the most important CNA vlog that I have which is that I PASSED THE CNA CERTIFICATION EXAM!! Woohoo! Here's a little story time of my exam experience and how I prepared for it. Let me know if you guys relate or have any comments/questions! And of course good luck to those who are prepping to take this exam, I believe in you guys!

this is so helpful to me, we just switched over to Pvue instead of AHA and its sooo stressfull, my class ends the 29th and then i start working paid training at my new job as a CNA on the 2nd of november... hopefully I pass the STATE exam like you!! Thanks for sharing this video with us!

I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than studies after writing the CNA test last month she passed and I failed 😣, I asked her how she did it , just found out she got her help from Mr Dylan

Thieves now pretend to help you pass and they end up taking your hard earned money, Dylan is a sure help but very difficult to get his info..
Dylan helped me and two of my friends pass the exam just last year you’re really lucky I still have his info

@@jasminecornell7638 real person. My partner did foot care. So embarrassing! I had to remove my shoes and socks and she did it with actual water and soap. 😂

I passed mine after studying so hard, I’m not discouraging anyone just wanna say do whatever you believe will help you pass.
CNA is really frustrating, I don’t believe I’ll pass, I need Philip's information.
Passing the CNA exam is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don't have time for your studies l'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr James

@@tiffanyhuynh That was not the problem. The problem was that I was very nervous and almost forgot one important step at the beginning. And through the whole process I had to calm myself down.
Ooo that can def my nerve racking almost forgetting an important step. At least you pulled yourself together and pushed thru the rest of the skills.
@@tiffanyhuynh Yes I did, but it was really difficult. I think my whole process in that skill was much longer than it should be. And all the time I had to tell myself the next steps, even at the end, because after rinsing the hands, we were not allowed to shake or flick the excess water off, we had to just let it drip and get the towel. I don´t know if this rule is still like that? Anyway, I almost forgot that as well at the end.
I passed my skills test today but did not pass the written and I’m very upset about it 😭😢. Now I have to wait two weeks out. The other three ladies I took the class with passed the whole test. I’m not good with taking tests. Yeah I’m feeling a type of way. I’m surprised I passed the skills portion. My RN trainer basically told me based on her class evaluation that she can tell that I’m more strong with hands on. I have to take my results to her tomorrow I don’t know what she’ll say. 🥳 congrats to you.

I have my exam this Friday but I’m so afraid that I won’t pass the skills portion! I don’t feel that confident because there’s little details I forget. I hope they aren’t too harsh but I’ll keep practicing them until Friday 😫

Hi dear, how long do u have to wait to get your testing date when u schedule for the exam?
I remember having to wait a couple weeks so that the teacher can send in your paperwork then you are able to schedule your exam. Not sure if it’s different for different schools🙂

Hi, I have the CNA exam coming up in Cali too, and I just wanted to know if we have to do things like place a liner over the pt table while giving the pt the modified bed? and also you said just verbalize getting water or putting on gown so thats how they do it? We don't have to actually get the water? Thank you so much for replying! I hope you're thriving now in nursing school. :)
It really depends on where you go, not all places allow you to verbalize your skills. I did mine at the nurse builders academy. Idk about thriving😅I’m hanging by a thread in nursing school.

I've been working as a CNA/PCT since 2014 and have worked in med surg for 4 and then Float pool. I'm about take a job in Alaska but they're requiring a certificate which I haven't had because I've been trained and from then on I was hired based off of experience and a certificate wasn't required. This hospital wants a certificate so I am looking into Challenging the National CNA exam NNAAP and I'm highly confident based on my skills and experience but I don't know where to start to get that done. Do I really have to waste time and money doing a program or is taking the exam possible?
Oh I’m not familiar with how that process works but it sounds like you definitely challenged the exam with your experience, similar to how nursing students in nursing school can👍
@@tiffanyhuynh ended up finding out where to go but apparently i don't actually need it out in Alaska after all lol regardless I'm going to take the exam anyway just to get the cert so I can have it covered in multiple states if I ever wanted a travel gig.

@@tiffanyhuynh I just did my test in Riverside California, I PASSED!!! Thank you so much for your video, your spirit and joy was with me when I took my test. We had a guy who was in charge of the written portion and he was a D*** 😂. He either doesn’t like guys... or just didn’t like me. Some girl started asking me a question, and he immediately looked at me and was like, you answer any of her questions I will send you home.. I went to the bathroom twice because I drank of lot of water before I went in to the test. I was almost out of the bathroom when he was standing there when I got out and accused me of watching the other students perform their skills. And said he would send me home if I went over a min and a half for going to the bathroom. Just total power trip, other than that! My skills lady was an Angel, she was so helpful and very lienient, I messed up doing the affected arm skill, and she corrected me on which I started from first and loved that I used the “ Peanut Butter Sand Wich technique”
Peanut- provide privacy
Butter- Bed in lowest position and locked
Sand- signal light in reach
Wich- Wash hands

Why so many skills test when I passed my CNA skills test I only had to do hand washing and 1 skill test mouth care.

Passing the CNA test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr William.
I’ve always believed CNA is not for all but studying, you need God’s grace to pass.

Where did you get the book?
The book was given to us in my program but you could just go online to NNAAP and download it.
I finally passed my exam thanks to Mr Clark who helped me with tutoring.He has good tips and question to enable we all succeed

I never heard of any math.. since we don’t do any converting
@Dawn Miller. I took it and passed and I only had 1 on mine and it's measuring fluid intake and output with like drinks and foods etc

Hi I would like to know how you studied i failed the written 2 times and I only have one more try 😭
Since I knew the questions were gonna be more so common sense, I just reviewed practice questions from quizlet and tested myself. I studied the NNAAP Pearson pamphlet for the skills portion. Try this, I hope it helps✊
