Finally got one, I just can't believe how perfect it is. Powerful, quiet, runs cool... I'm a GTA online player and I had the OG Xbox one up until now and it's like a completely different game. It would freeze up a lot if you went to fast in a car and assets would disappear and pop back in. I feel like I'm on a high end gaming PC now. I just couldn't be happier!
Just got mine in from the Taco Bell/Xbox sweepstakes. Definitely don't miss the huge power bank that was required on my Xbox One. Plug into wall and go! The controller shareshot is awesome, no more double tapping the Xbox button on the controller, that'll be a bit of getting used to.
Now to get the OLED tv to run the 120 fps... I have a Samsung 4k UHD TV, Might as well spend some money on a projector worthy of running fast and then upgrade the modem/router... so that'll be an upgrade here come black Friday or cyber Monday

I’ve had this console for 3 weeks it’s awesome loads fast and doesn’t drop FPS on most games and on battlefield v you get a smooth 60 FPS and war zone it’s just overall a nice console and fortnite has the highest graphics colors are insane best console of 2021 because barely anyone got it in 2020 what a horrible year that was.

Why do they release a system without any new games that really use the hardware? What am I missing here with these new consoles on both fronts, sony and microsoft?? Remember when a system launched with 5-10 games that were new and showcased the new hardware!
They do release some new games but they aren't exclusive. Miles Morales is technically a new launch game for the PS5 but they botched the selling point by making it available for PS4. A lot of new third party games too, could have been next gen exclusive but they were made available on older consoles. It's not as bad as it looks. But games take a lot longer to develop these days, so there isn't much room for choosing when games release. I'm sure the newer lineups are expected to be more plentiful come christmas.

I really don't get this argument. The PS4 controller has under 1000mah capacity whereas my 2 rechargeable AA batteries are 4600mah in total, which is nearly 5 times larger and will last me nearly all week. I then have 2 ready to insert once the current ones run out. The PS4 controller has to be charged pretty much daily and the capacity only gets smaller as it ages, until you ultimately need to buy a new one. I'd take AA batteries all day long.
This xbox series x is the one. Haven't really been into games or consoles since halo 3 or mw2 days. But this xbox is really nice idk what more you could ask for. I need a newer tv though.

I pre-ordered one to use it for the PC and received it yesterday. It's a little smaller than the xbone controllar so it's more pleasant to hold and that textured grip feels so good. Also, bumpers and triggers feel rubber-ish and are silent. Considering it has pretty much the same price as the xbone controller, I think it's worth it
If the Elite Series 2 was $120 and didn’t have rampant quality control issues like toggle drift out of the box, I’d say to go with it. But from my casual research I’d say you have a 20% chance it breaks down in the first three months.
They update the Home Screen regularly though. This ain’t going to be the permanent UI. They’ve been changing it and it’s been getting better every update

But the hud is the same, theres no xbox series x exclusive titles, it feels like a lazy upgrade with gimmicks. And as an xbox fan, im highly disappointed with the direction microsoft is going with the xbox series x. It feels rushed, like a quantity over quality thing

My 58 inch Samsung only runs 4K at 60hz. Should’ve bought the better one when it was on sale but this console still looks AMAZING and runs great 👍

The PS4 controller has to be charged pretty much daily and the capacity only gets smaller as it ages, until you ultimately need to buy a new one. I'd take AA batteries all day long.

This xbox series x is the one. Haven't really been into games or consoles since halo 3 or mw2 days. But this xbox is really nice idk what more you could ask for. I need a newer tv though.

xbox has better gpu cpu ssd and more storage the only thing that ps5 has is exclusives but that will change in 2021 when xbox will get so many exclusives

I pre-ordered one to use it for the PC and received it yesterday. It's a little smaller than the xbone controllar so it's more pleasant to hold and that textured grip feels so good. Also, bumpers and triggers feel rubber-ish and are silent. Considering it has pretty much the same price as the xbone controller, I think it's worth it

If the Elite Series 2 was $120 and didn’t have rampant quality control issues like toggle drift out of the box, I’d say to go with it. But from my casual research I’d say you have a 20% chance it breaks down in the first three months.

@@Wolverine-ky9gk I'm trying to say that it looks like xbox took the easy way out. Yes, they upgraded the specs, but that's about it. The console is bigger, I guess that's an upgrade. But the hud is the same, theres no xbox series x exclusive titles, it feels like a lazy upgrade with gimmicks. And as an xbox fan, im highly disappointed with the direction microsoft is going with the xbox series x. It feels rushed, like a quantity over quality thing
