This week was full of unexpected challenges and uncertainty about how long this little dude will hold out before making his entrance into the world, which ultimately led to a quick decision to bring someone in as backup for Bowie. As you'll see there were a lot of candid emotions captured this week as we bring you along for the emotional rollercoaster that is being 39 weeks pregnant. I love watching all of you guys every week but I just have to single Josh out here. He is just such a beautiful human being. Watching him every week be such a huge support for Shenae is awesome and such a wonderful dad to Bowie. And then this week his whole speech about women and moms. Josh you are awesome and not just a good man but one of the best men. So excited for you guys and what's ahead!
I swear Josh has raised the limit for alll men in the world but seriously you guys are everything I want in my next relationship. I'm so excited to watch along this next chapter with y'all. 🖤🖤🖤

I would keep the family portrait with the 3 of you, and then hang the new family portrait either below it or make it into a cool art piece with the two photos, maybe with some of the kids lovey things or baby onesies or maternity outifts from both. That was a special time when you started your family, it can't be erased, it was pre little dude, and that's ok. Now leaving him out of future family portraits, that maybe hurtful lol

Hi Shenae, I have gone down a rabbit hole this week. I listened to Call Her Daddy’s episode with AnnaLynne (Total 90210 fan here) and then I found out about the podcast you share with her! And wow I am so thankful 🙏🏼 I have now found your TH-cam channel and it honestly makes me so happy. Your videos are so positive and cheerful and is so beautiful to see such a kind and loving relationship between you and your family. Thank you so so much for sharing your life with us.
Also you could do a timeline gallery wall for the pics which always look awesome. It shows the expansion of the family. And because it start with Frankie as the first "baby" kids tend not to be as jealous of seeing older sibling at the beginning of the timeline :) hope that helps!!

The first couple of months after having my son, trying to recover from an emergency c section, breastfeeding / pumping 24/7 I rewatched all seasons of 90210 and loved it. Regarding the family portrait: Shoot another one. You will be skilled enough with photoshop since you're a photographer, but shooting a new picture is always better in my opinion. You could always hang this one in Bowie's room or somewhere else.

Putting a newborn/toddler car seat in the car is like running a dadgum marathon. Seriously feels like it. With all the new safety measures in cars and car seats. It’s important and saves lives, but holy moly!!!!
I am right there with ya! I have 3 weeks and change until my second one gets here. I also had an emergency c-section the first go round and while it was pretty routine, I am 100% not willing to get another one unless I have to. My ob-gyn is very much a vbac supporter. Hoping baby boy comes with little to no complications!
Thank you for the kind words Josh. I am a single mom of four in a small apartment in LA County where the variant is rampant, and both I and two of my children are immunocompromised. It’s HARD. We don’t even have a backyard...the days are LONG. Nice to have that shout out 💗

Josh's speech about moms had me tearing up, I started watching your pregnancy videos just before I got pregnant myself and I was the first in my close group of friends so having communities like this one did make such a difference for me. So thank you!
I hope you do try for VBAC! The statistics for uterine rupture etc are very low/rare- but either way I get the fear. Complications are scary regardless if it’s from vaginal delivery or surgery!
Also- with the family portraits- keep the old ones and get new ones! I think it’s nice to see the family development if that makes sense.

Re the family picture, you could relocate the picture to a less prominent spot, have it reprinted in a smaller size, take one with the new baby and put them beside each other.

That’s awesome that your mom was able to come early and that baby boy himself may arrive a bit early. Things have been crazy so it’s good someone was able to travel. The restrictions have been tough and with these new variants who knows if they’ll start closing some things again! 😢

I'm the 4th and final child in my family, but I came 9 years after the 3rd child so my parents truly thought they were done. Right before my mom got pregnant with me, she commissioned an art piece of my three sisters and I guess she be damned if she didn't pay all that durn money and didn't hang it up. So all my life, there's been this huge framed portrait of my 3 sisters hanging over the living room sofa. Rude! PS-- this was commissioned in the late 70s so the art is hilarious. If you've ever seen the show Family Ties, it looks the portrait in the theme song. I really wish you could see it. 😂😂. Wishing you a smooth birth and can't wait to see your new addition!

Josh should do classes for men on how to be good husbands! 👍 I have 2 boys, my first was a day late and my second was 10 days early and came quickly!! I think quite often the second labour is quicker than the first. Hope it all goes well, can't wait to find out his name! Xx

Josh I miss hearing the English accent its so refreshing.... Shenea My Eldest Daughter I had her by an Emergency C Section, My Youngest Daughter born 16 months apart was Vaginal delivery so dont be scared you will be ok, My youngest had a Pandemic Baby she caught during Lock down My granddaughter is 6 months old... My grandson as just gone 2... My youngest was in labor 4 days and ended up having a emergency c section and for my granddaughter she elected for a section .... I will pray for a safe delivery for you...

I think you leave family photos from time prior as that is a moment in time and who you were, then you add the family photos as the family is now to the house as well. We had 6 babies. We have family photos at all stages of our family. When the older kids were younger before younger ones were born, that was a special time of who we were which we also always want to remember. With my #3, I was 3 cm at week 37, then 4 cm at week 40, and she was born at 41 weeks, only after my membranes were stripped. With #4, I was not dilated at all at 38 weeks and went into labor the next day lol. You never know.
What I love about Ritual is that for the folate they actually use Methylfolate so that those that have MTHFR mutation can still take their pills

I would keep the old family photo and take a new one and place it below or above the old one. or move it to a wall where you can do that. Never get rid of the photos theres way to be creative with adding on to them. Pictures are the windows to our lives. Keep but add the new one with it. Good luck with the new baby cant wait.

I'm due on the 20th and my mom will fly in Tuesday but doc already says I was dilated 2cm and 75% effaced as of LAST Monday so one week ago!! .. I totally understand what you're going through!! I'm glad your mom made it in time!!
Keep both portraits on the wall to show how your family expanded && how it all started.. id also put one of yall 2 first then keep going dwn the portrait line lol.
