    You need to save 2 gallons of your boil water turn it to ice then ad it to ur next boil regular ice takes flavor away

      Frozen corn works just fine during the soak portion of the boil. Cools down the water enough to soak for 25-30 minutes.

    If you are using city water the chlorine in it does the same thing as salt, makes them sick. I use pump water one box of salt to a bag . Don't let them soak over 5 minutes or they will start dieing. Then Rinse them off with just regular water for about 30 minutes. You won't lose any. That aren't already gone. You did a good job. Everyone has a different recipe. That's why I love to swap up cooks from time to time 😂😅

    Maybe put water hose on the other end of ice chest, drain while filling up will wash quicker

    Do you have an air compressor? aeration is the best method but i would combine them if you really want them clean you can go to lowes get a pvc pipe drill some small holes in it for both water and air for some seriously clean crawfish but to do it correctly you need to aeration for 12 to 24 hours so get a drum or something big enough to do all your crawfish at once over night and your ready to boil the next day.

    Well done I do everything pretty much the exact same way only thing I see missing is the garlic cant wait to get my first sack in the morning

    • @BreamBassBeyond
      @BreamBassBeyond  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I typically would use garlic too, I had my sister and brother in law stop get some of the stuff and they accidentally grabbed the baby onions thinking they were garlic 😆

    Ole timer told me that soap causes pits in your pots. Not sure if it’s true though.

      Maybe. Those old fellas tend to know a thing or two! I'm curious if that's true or not.

    Becareful lighting your burner with your tank so close. I've had a couple of those heads leak propane. Luckily I caught it both time

    Awesome boil! But I have a question for all my Cajun brothers and sisters. Is the ice method a mandatory step or is it ok to keep turning off the heat and letting everything soak up all the hot goodness??? Looking to have my 1st boil of the season ...Thanxxxx

    • @BreamBassBeyond
      @BreamBassBeyond  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everyone I've ever seen uses some method to stop the boil, otherwise they'd be overcooked imo. Curious to see what others say though, may be a good thing to do a experiment video with 🤔. Appreciate you watching & commenting!
