Wing paddle feather with fan demo

Nothing surprising here.
1. An unfeathered wing paddle blade has more air drag (resistance) than a feathered blade.
2. A blade feathered at 90 degrees has less air drag than a blade feathered less than 90 degrees.
3. An unfeathered paddle has the highest air drag with wind hitting it from the concave (back) side which is good for downwind paddling.
4. For those of us needing to paddle upwind before being able to paddle downwind, it would appear advantageous to paddle upwind feathered and then paddle downwind unfeathered to get more propulsion from the wind and to facilitate downwind bracing.
