This is crazy, but I saw your comment on the Buakaw glove reviews talking about their shin guards, didn't even know they existed! Did you end up getting them? Also, excited to see more of your Muay Thai comparisons/reviews, you're down to earth and I appreciate your thoughts
Hi Wingo, short question cause I’m a bit confused, you’ve mentioned in every review of the Primos that they are leather but on every website including their website it says they’re semi-leather and the genuine leather patch as it usually stays on every leather product isn’t visible on them, so my question are they genuine leather? I have the TKB’s and ordered the SGL10 cause I want something lighter and I thought about the Primo too in case the SGL’s are not fitting well, I have short and thick legs. Thanks for the reviews!
Yeah I noticed that too. So I just installed an LED light in my Dojo a week ago. The lighting is way Better now. I shot the review of the Isami mma sparring gloves with the new light. Check it out and let me know what you think
Hey Wingo, thanks for the comparison. Both of these look promising. Random question, out of all the shinguards you've tried, which few had the longest toe/foot covering? I know you're supposed to kick and land with your shin but I have a size 17 foot and accidents happen and I'd rather be safe than sorry 😅
The Hayabusa T3. The Fly Spectre Shinguards that I have also have a longer wider foot covering as well but I have the discontinued 1.0. They changed it up and sell a different model the 2.0 now and the pair I have are not available anymore. Hopefully they will be available again in the future
I like both of these better. I used to own the Venum Elite years ago. They were good shin guards but I prefer the 2 single velcro straps that synches down on itself vs the 4 velcro straps that come together

No, maybe in the future I'll get a pair
Been looking at these primos! Have you tried the Fairtex SP5? If yes, how would you compare with the Primo?
No I haven't. Fairtex really doesn't have any Shinguards that makes me want to buy them yet. Possibly in the future though.
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 thank you for the reply wingo!
great review, thanks a lot! what is your calf measurement btw since i’m planning to buy the small top kings
I'm not sure lol. But my calves are not that big. If you have big thick calves go with medium
Out of the shinguards you own what is the lightest? And what one stays in place/ on the best during mma training sessions
I will answer all of these questions over the next few videos comparing the models I do have

Neither the website or the Shinguards say if they are leather, semi leather or synthetic. They feel like leather and smell like leather though.
Thank you!
Found out they are synthetic not real leather. My bad on that one
Hey coach, great video, maybe add more lightning to the video its kinda dark

Primo always dropping excellent products with sleek designs.
I love these especially for mma

@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 Looks like it's the T3's for me, thanks Wingo. Always look forward to your videos, keep it up!
Yep no problem
Thank you. Good review bro
Appreciate the support, thank you.
Hey Coach!
How is it compared to your SGL-10's?
Going to shoot that video in the near future brother,
How tall are you ? I’m trynna figure out if a Small or a Medium would fit better
I'm 5 foot 5 and I wear a small. BTW which Shinguard are interested in? The Primo or the Top King Pro?
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667primo 5,7 the twins sgl10s small are too small for me
Compared to Venum Elite?

Looks like Buzz Lightyear just hit the scene, poor Woody 😂
