Do you find that the shin guard straps are too long on the T3s? im pretty sure I have the correct size (M) but I find the straps are long and I still have a lot of strap sticking out after putting them on. Thanks for your video, it was really helpful.
Hell ya
When someone wears these gloves to sparring, I'm taking it personally.
Wingo is the reviewer we need but not the one we derserve.
Part 2 ?
i just got a pair, they are extremely tight on my right hand for whatever reason, really hurt my middle knuckle using them the first day. Wondering how much they loosened up over time? I understand its real leather so a break in period is expected but im worried they might just not be for my hand shape, which would suck cause they were sooo pricey to get to canada.
I had the same experience. Where hand wraps until they break in. Street they break in they will be comfortable without wraps
Would you recomend primo or fly shinguards
Depends on which sport your going to use them for. In mma i line the Primo in muay thai and kickboxing the the bulkier layered padding add protection but catch on your opponent while grappling
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 ended up buying primos thanks to your recomendation. First impression is superb. No wrestling rounds done yet however.
what is the reason not taping thumbs ? and how long ? btw great video .
You can still wrap your thumbs, but in my opinion it's not nessecary if your gloves have a attached thumbs.
is it safe for sparing partners?
Yes i haven't had any problems with it yet
The best review 🤙
Thank you
I get mines on monday 30, Im exited brother they are black whit a cage design on gold
hey coach wingo im going to purchase sum fly X. however i fight at 126 and have rather small hands and thin wrists would you recommend i get the super loop or get the super lace and use lace converter, which would give a tighter and more secure fit in your opinion?? thank you
Always go with lace up and a lace converter. In my honest opinion it's best.
@ thanks for the quick reply helps a ton,
Lace up always fit better.
I’m not a Muay Thai guy but I had Grants, Winnings, Reyes, Fly.. the most comfortable gloves I’ve ever used were a Thai brand called In Fight Style. They were uglier than homemade gravy but felt amazing.
I can only give my opinion. I know the brand you're talking about though. Maybe in the future I'll get a pair and give review on them.
Hey! Nice review! How are they holding up so far?
Still look brand new and feel great.
No videos for some time. I hope everything is ok. All the best, man!
I need to get some money to order some new gear to review is all. I'll be back at it after the new year
Man I want 1V1 so damn bad but I can't bring myself to drop the 800! GREAT REVIEW!!!!
Tell me about it, they are so expensive i barely use them even though they are my favorite pair of gloves. They look to good to mess them up. think they are 900 now but you can get the 1V1 archs way cheaper.
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 ya I saw those but they don't look as nice as the ones you have
I like the way you display your equipment on the walls like art pieces. It looks great and you have all high quality gear. I hope that injury is healing Coach. I remember you told me a while back you had injury that's why you weren't uploading anything new.
I'm healing up. I may be dropping some new videos soon. I need to buy some new gear too lol
I ordered mine in white they come Friday I can’t wait
Most likely you will love them. If you take care of them they will last you forever. I have had mine for 10 years now and they are still in decent shape
My pair just came in today. Love these shins!
So light and ergonomic. I love these for mma because you can spar without the ledges that catch on your opponent and their gear and their body. They are very light too
Can you also Go with a size smaller instead of m take s? Headsize is around 55,5cm
I think they do have a size small. Go check out their website
What do you prefer between phenom and fly?
It depends. Gloves i prefer fly, headgear and cup i prefer phenom. But if you have bad wrists phenom gloves may be better for you. I think that both companies rank the same but for different reasons
@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 oh I should have been specific I just meant gloves but ya I like the look of both of them. Probably not going to buy them any time soon since I have a good 3 glove Roto between Hit n move balance, MK1 select and fighting freedoms but in the future I definitely want to get one of those British gloves.
How would you rate it vs fly x facebar??
I like this one better. I thought i did comparison video but maybe i didn't. I'll look to see if it is up but it might not be. The Fly is Lighter but i like the fit, feel and vision in the Phenom better.
This is the first video I’m seeing of you and idk man you got some charm. Liked and subscribed keep up the good videos man
Thank you, i appriciate your support
What is the difference between Twins SGL 10 vs Twins SGL7?
It is the exact same model but they changed it to SGL-7 in Europe

If you would like me to review some your training gear add me on Facebook and contact me through there. "Jacob Vale Tudo Wingo". I can help you get your companies name out there to the people. Btw i been Milano before, and i love Italy and the Italian people were so good to me while i was there.

Love these reviews! Idk you but I can tell the authenticity. Definitely help me choosing which to pick 👍🏼
I love and appriciate any and all support for me and my channel. Thank you for the compliments.
How you like these? Any other mma spar gloves you recommend?
These are the best mma sparring gloves in my opinion. If your on a budget combat corner has and really good mma sparring gloves too. I want to try sanabal puffy gloves out and combat sports max strike gloves too though but don't have them yet
thanks for your reviews. Im watching in KOREA.
Thank you for your support all the way from Korea. My dad used to serve on the demiltarized zone in the US Army
@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 thank you so much. you and your dad🙏🏻
Not trying to hate but these dudes fighting *really* need some head protectors on with the wild AF punches they're throwing. I speak from experience when I say TBI's, and concussions are no joke.
These were smoker fights. This show actually created by a lot of the fighters that you see in the video.
Wingo no hate at all really! I think you're the best Muay Thai gear reviewer on TH-cam, and I do reviews myself! That being said we gotta start a go fund me so you stop shooting this gold on that potato of a phone you use
Thank you for the complements, i do need a better camera and microphones i also need to buy some more gear I'm about to check out channel and give it a sub if i haven't already. How do we start the GoFundMe? Lol i really don't have a clue but that's a great idea
@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 thanks bro! I really appreciate that. I think a lapel mic and just a new iPhone or Samsung would go a very long way! I've never started a go fund me but I think you just go to the website submit your reason for starting it, they vet you and a week later if approved people can donate to the cause and you can even set an amount so let's say you get a goal of 1200 dollars for a phone, once you get it, it can close and nobody will send any more money. Love your stuff man!
Hey Wingo, im currently saving up for these as my main training gloves as i’ve had sum hand complications with the hayabusa t3 i’ve been using, do you think the winnings have the best wrist and hand protection of a glove you’ve used??
Best hand protection yeah best wrist protecting i would say the Phenom SG210s i did a review on
mine just arrived and i love them
They are sweet pair of gloves, comfortable as hell with great padding. Awesome sparring glove too
I am planning to buy a pair of superlace x fly, should I get 16oz so I can use it on the bag as well as sparring?
Yes you should get 16 ounces if you plan on using them for Sparring. That will be just fine for bag and mitt work too.
@ would the glove fit well? I’m 16yr 165cm tall,59 kg. I wouldn’t really say my hands are big or small. I just wanna make sure if I can feel my knuckles hitting the bag well.
bro im my gym we use 10oz gloves for sparring XD
After 2 years are you back to winning? 😀
These are still my favorite gloves but barely use them because these 1 of kind custom and the price is on them is now $900. But yeah I'm normal wear my Winning now.
How would you compare these to the venom elite evos?
That's a good shin guard too. Unfortunately Fly no longer produces this model of shin guard and have changed the design. If it's this model i choose the above Venum, but since i haven't tried the new Fly Shin Guards they make right now i couldn't give you an honest opinion
Love this review. I have hit n move balance but looking for another glove for the roto so I can give them more time to air out and these 2 are the ones I'm considering. I'm just looking at Velcro though
Which pair are you thinking about going with between these 2?
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 I'm leaning phenom for a couple of reasons; 1 is I just trust gloves that are made of leather a little more even though I'm sure fly uses great synthetics, 2 everyone talks about fly being really soft and I don't want my knuckles to sink too far through the glove when we go to hard sparring in fight camp and hurt my partners. I must say though the black and neon color way of fly is the best looking to me.
They don’t make that pop noise like my Venum one does
Which model of Venum do you own?
@ Venus razor 16 oz. There top heavy gloves & they not make a whipping noise but there loud & heavy. It sounds like a bomb
Hi Wingo, great review. What is your hand circumference? I want to get 2 pairs of Winning gloves. A 16 oz pair for sparring and a 14oz pair for general training, however I am afraid that the 14 oz might be too small for my hands ( I read that the newer gloves have a smaller fit than the older versions). Have normal hands (21,5 cm circumference), 182 cm and 88 kg.
Most are not as small as i am so you will most Likely want 16 ounce over 14 once anyways so you can spar in them. Get anything from 12, 10 or 8 ounces for the bag and mitts. You should still be able to fit in 14 ounces though if your hands are not abnormally large.
Do you know if Fly give discounts during holidays?
Probably gonna be a Black Friday Sale. But i don't think they will be doing anything for Christmas so you may want to buy whatever a little bit early.
Is their a UK retailer of these? or did you import them? If I order from you can I save on postage? looking to get a green pair of the shin guards.
I'm thinking they would ship to the UK though. Although the UK customs charges are insane. They have a store in Norway it may be cheaper to have shipped from. I live in the USA abs their company is here in America
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 Ok, thanks 👍 see what I can find. Fairtex are the next best alternative? I had a look around for the budget Decathlon / Outshock 900 but it's sold out everywhere.
Twins is another company you should look at. We can't get twins in America anymore because some A-Hole copywrited their logo and company name here
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 ok, thanks. I managed to get hold of some Outshock / Decathlon the 500 series, their labelled with Ergo padding at mid density, they also do a 900 series with a thicker DX3 padding. Haven't had chance to test them fully yet but they seem fine, no impact or feeling into the bone when I cracked them with a hammer. The 900 shin-foot guard absorbs shocks of 10 joules (the standard is 3 joules), not sure what the 500 series is just says it reachs & complies with 13277-2 standard.
W review love ur vids
Thank you. Hopefully I can buy something new to review soon lol
Size?? I am 5.7 170 lbs meduim or large what you think?
I think i bought the small. I'm 5'5 140. I'm assuming you wild be a medium but I'm not 100 percent certain. Go to the Phenom website and their should be a sizing chart that you can measure you waist to figure out
I finally received my fly headgear after a month from ordering it. unfortunately it didn't fit and had to send it back. I ordered a large because my other 3 headgears are large and they fit perfectly. The fly sizing is way different though. It was pretty much suffocating my head when I put it on.
Sorry to hear about that. I'm glad Fly was able to help you with it.
I wore this head guard in sparring I was getting jabbed and the jabs was hitting my nose and my nose is swollen. What did I do wrong? Is there a certain way to wear the head guard?
Your supposed to put the "nose bar" lower in front of your lips and mouth. Adjust it and try it out after that
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 Thanks I will give it a try
Did it work ? When you adjusted it?
I just got these in today, I was surprised how stiff everything was. Did yours ever break in for you? Pretty uncomfortable around the fingers, knuckles, and even wrapping around the wrist seemed like odd fitment. I just ordered the handmade ones from Japan to see if they are different feeling from these ones made in China.
Yeah they are uncomfortable at first until you break them in. I used a hand wrap to speed the process up

They are a little uncomfortable at first. But once they break in that changes. I wore light hand wrap to help break them in faster.
If you ever wanna sell those mediums lmk I can’t find em anywhere small hand problems lol 😂🤦♂️
55 plus Shipping and they are yours
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 bet you got like a eBay account or something ?
I’m down you got like a eBay account or something or how can we make it happen ?
Sorry I'm just now seeing this but i have a cashapp account. You can get in touch with me in Facebook "Jacob Vale Tudo Wingo"
how have you been liking the headgear and the fit so far? I was originally going to get a size large for the shg 250 but after watching your review we have same head size so im thinking medium now. I got a size regular for ringside one time following their size guide and it was too small on me so now I got trust issues from the website size guides..
It fits me perfectly. My Winning fits perfectly as well. I love the way they fit me, if you're head is 22.5 inches it should be fine. Plus this headgear is extremely comfortable. I would argue its more comfortable than Winning FG-2900 as well
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 thank you
On the winning gloves is the pad softer on the 12oz compared to the 14oz?
No they are the same but with Fly the 12 ounce gloves are much softer than the 14 ounce gloves
Red is so dope but I ordered black lol
The black is my favorite as well. I have those in 12 ounces though
@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 yea I got it in 12. Gonna order a 16 soon. Still contemplating on the flys premium
I never knew I was in the presence of a legend. I stumbled across some mma matches from you that were from like 10 years ago. The last name Wingo caught my eye and I didn't know your first name and just thought it was a coincidence. And then it zoomed in on your face and I knew it was you for sure. You were an absolute savage inside the cage coach! respect!
Thanks i appriciate that a lot. It's been a while. Lol
