I think the person who has done well with personal branding is Vusi Thembekwayo
I feel she holds back though, i can tell both characters are cautious to not go over a certain boundry. Somehow in my opinion I sense she is afraid of being crucified by the public if she really loses herself in the character; because she's Christian and more a pastor's wife. I would have loved to see more of their love because i can see and sense potential of a more and deeper connection for the characters.
I feel for this reason, they can never match Mqhele and Mahlomu's character, not beacause they are not as talented but because of their own personal boundaries.
I wish I could tell her that we understand she's acting, we won't crucify her.......but again, maybe it's not just us but the husband's comfortability that's holding her back, which is very understandable and respected.

I feel the same. I actually started watching because of them and could sense that almost immediately. I did not know of her prior to the show, so yeah maybe she holds back because of church and stuff. They have such great chemistry and I wish they could just let lose. I think they're getting there though, especially this week.
Honey, trust me it's safe that way. When you say "we", you are actually talking about yourself. Otherwise the social media streets are very cruel and hard on Christians, let alone a pastor.
It might be so but remember that skeem saam is also a family show so the don't usually go deep with these things.
