I just purchased same model, going to use for the 1st time. Thanks for the Video.
I hope it helps you 👍
Well happy you are happy Jane .Looks a lot of work though .Let's wait and see 👍🥚Have a great Sunday ..
Thank you #HelenaMikas, it's automatic, just needs water topping up :) I think the hard work comes if they hatch - I saw movement in No 1 egg 😲👍🥚🐣 so have bought a brooder in case 🐣🙏🤞Thunderstorms today⚡Have a lovely Sunday too! 🌸
@@WildwoodTV Mine was spent at hospital and they had no catfood broth would you believe .Nice place and so clean but no broth ..I ask you .You are a mini Geekette as well as chicken nurturer .The filming in the forest is linked to your Geekette side :) All is a compliment by the way . 🌹
@@HelenaMikas I'm sorry to hear that, I hope they were able to help you 'tho. I'm sure the broth would do you good - the best medicines taste revolting 🤣🤣 I would much prefer TBird to be broody than use this gadget 🐔🌸
Thanks for sharing your eggs incubator 👌🙏👍🥚😃
Thank you for watching & commenting, I hope it helped you 👍😊
I am really pleased with my incubator.
I had to put wireless thermometer in and had to make adjustments. 38.9 is where I set mine at and it has stayed consistent for the 21 incubating period. So I have 8 out of 12 egges hatching now. One us pippin theories two are being lazy.😊
Good luck with your hatch! 👍
Great job 👏 I just got one.but am not sure what to expect 👌🙏🔔👍
Thank you! I think you have to watch the humidity is correct (I bought Hygometers). Since this video I have hatched 25 chicks successfully in small batches 👍🐤
Omg such a helpful vid thanks i didnt know how to use the egg turner 😀
Happy to help!
Haha😂 I did but didn’t know how to control humidity
I just ordered this one.. coming in early June... To fit bigger eggs, because the other ones I have won't hold like goose or turkey eggs for example... So I ordered a third (well actually a 4th and I have a small cabinet incubator I need to fix or repurpose (make a bigger one out of the working parts) haha I think I have a new addiction
Thanks for you comment, I hope the hatch went well 👍👍
Oh Just found this Video. Thank you
you're welcome 👍😊
Hey!
How do you maintain the humidity in the last 3 days? Because I add water until reach 65/70%, but then during the night it decreases until 40%… which I think is the problem for not hatching more eggs.
I wasn't sure either, but you can use a small wet sponge - I bought some hygrometers & 2 of 3 eggs hatched - also noticed the incubator was warmer on the left side too - I hope to try it again in the spring 👍🥚
Hello my friend. Can you take a picture of the instructions for the incubator? I lost the booklet I received with the Incubator somewhere. I have eggs and I don't know how to adjust anything. Thank you.
Hello, I'm sorry iI don't think it's possible to add pictures to a published video. What do you need to adjust? The incubator is pre-set at 37.5 degrees for chicken eggs which are turned automatically every 2 hours. You need to add a little water to the base for humidity. Hope that helps. I've also replied on my other video.
Could u please tell me how many MLS of water do u add before placing the eggs..and do you put a humidity reader inside ??
Enough to cover one 1/5 of the base (about 50ml) I bought some hygrometers on my second attempt and added water accordingly - not sure how accurate they were 'tho
Just a note to everyone... I tested the incubator's thermometer against my polder thermometer.. it was off by about 1.7 degrees Celsius ... so I suggest that you test it when you get it and find your 100°f/37.5°c. And set it for that temperature in order to keep it within the 99°-102° range... I personally like 100°
I will say that I like the way this incubator maintains a steady temperature . Even though you'll see it go up and down on the dial i ttb seems to hold a steady average temp...
Yes I found that the temperature was less on one side, I bought some small hygro/thermometers to check too 👍
Yes myn is well 9ff needed to adjust temp for the inside as lcd display tells lies
Is it meant to turn automatically because mine isn’t but will do it when I hold the button
Yes mine turned every couple of hours I think, holding down the button tests the function.
Rotating shaft is broken can a i buy one
Hi, I wouldn't know, there is an email address on their website hhdincubator.com/
Hiya I’ve brought this incubator and my heat says 70-103 degrees Celsius? And it won’t let me change this
Hi 100'F is 37.7'C - about right to hatch chicken eggs. Someone commented below that to change it hold down the + and - buttons together, but I haven't tried as mine came as 38'C. I also bought little temperature/humidifier gauges to make sure. Good luck with your hatch.
@@WildwoodTV so if it’s come up as 100 degrees Celsius that’s 37.7 farenheight ? X
@rubyhammond I googled it as I don't have the manual to hand - but 100 degrees C is boiling point! so it's 100' farenheight that is 37.7' celsius - hope that helps!!! Mine was set at 38 which is slightly higher (I will correct my previous reply)
Also how long do I preheat the incubator before putting in the eggs
Page 5 Set up instructions. It depends on how cold the unit was beforehand to achieve a temp of 37.5 (for chickens) normally a few hours I guess???
I checked it recently & it only took 15 minutes to reach 37.5
Do you just put in water and then it hete jumidifydt
Yes you add more water to the base each week, I bought hygrometers to test the humidity
I need the 800 number to the the company of the incubator u featured. I need the little black turner piece. mine broke.
I can't see anything in the manual but googled a facebook group +86 187 0250 1431, I think it is chinese-made.
Is there a ventilation area on the incubator? I have one of these, and I can't find it.
Hi - I don't think there is, it's not mentioned in the manual.
There isn't and I struggled with too much humidity during hatch. It accumulated so much liquid a couple chicks were swimming. I'm not sure how to adjust this issue.
@@mandyeaves5116 some people do a dry hatch, I just didn't put that much water in
The manual said to use fridgerated eggs?? Is this true?
No, page 3 item 1 says "strictly prohibited to put into fridge or wash"
How can I increase lower temperature as it doesn't go higher than 30.0
My incubator arrived set to 38° - it can take a few hours for the temperature to rise (I reset it to 37.5° for chicken eggs). If it has not risen please check your settings, otherwise it may be faulty. Hope that helped 🙂
Got the pack thing for holly so ivy will be safe
The yellow anti-peck specs came free with the incubator, for chicks I suppose, I must find out how to fit them so Holly can't peck Ivy or TBird 🐔👍
Mine only fit 8 eggs not 12 so that was disappointing but main thing is it works but I only put them in yesterday
Thanks for commenting, I think it depends on the size of the eggs, I watched a video & he had 15 eggs in there! Good luck with your hatch 👍
What can i do to eliminate the odor it smells like rotten
Mine was OK - if it was used before I'd give it thorough clean or I hope one of the eggs isn't rotten? 👍
Di you find thats this incubator is not acurate temp all over the place
@giuseppenapoli5371 Yes I bought thermo/humidity sensors, the left side was cooler than the right - I now prefer incubating under Silkies & they brood the chicks too! 🐤🐔👍
I just bought this incubator, just switched on and temp screen said 37.5 but then changed quickly to 100 which is confusing. How do you set temp and how do I reset
The default temp is 38'C (100'F), alter with the Set button (by up/down arrows) hold the Set button down to reset. It takes a while to reach the correct temp - I also bought little thermometers/humidity guages.
Hi have you managed to solve this mine has done it. It's showing degrees fahrenheit not degrees celsius with the decimal point. It also isn't showing CAU option.
@@pgibby1000have you got the manual? Page 5 explains about settings, 'long set' means hold the settings button down awhile
@chris can't remember it was something todo with the up and down buttons hold them both down and think it changes
@chris Did you ever figure this out? I have the same problem. I tried holding down both arrow buttons but that didn't do anything.
How do u adjust humidity ?
The manual says to add water to the well, I also bought hygrometers and put a wet sponge in.
Im interested what you will do with chicks ?
now they're both cockerels
Why would you put eggs in a DEHYDRATOR
#korzer The first incubator failed and I had no choice 🤷♀
How much water
To start, the manual says to enough to cover 1/5 of the base (about 50ml)
Why not fo through the settings
I just switched it on as my other incubator failed, set up here th-cam.com/video/YXde7lxOtp8/w-d-xo.html - but the manual is thorough
