    I am really pleased with my incubator.
    I had to put wireless thermometer in and had to make adjustments. 38.9 is where I set mine at and it has stayed consistent for the 21 incubating period. So I have 8 out of 12 egges hatching now. One us pippin theories two are being lazy.😊

    I just ordered this one.. coming in early June... To fit bigger eggs, because the other ones I have won't hold like goose or turkey eggs for example... So I ordered a third (well actually a 4th and I have a small cabinet incubator I need to fix or repurpose (make a bigger one out of the working parts) haha I think I have a new addiction

    Hey!
    How do you maintain the humidity in the last 3 days? Because I add water until reach 65/70%, but then during the night it decreases until 40%… which I think is the problem for not hatching more eggs.

    • @WildwoodTV
      @WildwoodTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I wasn't sure either, but you can use a small wet sponge - I bought some hygrometers & 2 of 3 eggs hatched - also noticed the incubator was warmer on the left side too - I hope to try it again in the spring 👍🥚

    Hello my friend. Can you take a picture of the instructions for the incubator? I lost the booklet I received with the Incubator somewhere. I have eggs and I don't know how to adjust anything. Thank you.

    • @WildwoodTV
      @WildwoodTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, I'm sorry iI don't think it's possible to add pictures to a published video. What do you need to adjust? The incubator is pre-set at 37.5 degrees for chicken eggs which are turned automatically every 2 hours. You need to add a little water to the base for humidity. Hope that helps. I've also replied on my other video.

    • @WildwoodTV

      Enough to cover one 1/5 of the base (about 50ml) I bought some hygrometers on my second attempt and added water accordingly - not sure how accurate they were 'tho

  • @thefreese1
    @thefreese1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Just a note to everyone... I tested the incubator's thermometer against my polder thermometer.. it was off by about 1.7 degrees Celsius ... so I suggest that you test it when you get it and find your 100°f/37.5°c. And set it for that temperature in order to keep it within the 99°-102° range... I personally like 100°
    I will say that I like the way this incubator maintains a steady temperature . Even though you'll see it go up and down on the dial i ttb seems to hold a steady average temp...

    • @WildwoodTV
      @WildwoodTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I found that the temperature was less on one side, I bought some small hygro/thermometers to check too 👍

      Hi 100'F is 37.7'C - about right to hatch chicken eggs. Someone commented below that to change it hold down the + and - buttons together, but I haven't tried as mine came as 38'C. I also bought little temperature/humidifier gauges to make sure. Good luck with your hatch.
