My Aunt is very rich. She went to a estate sale and bought all of it the whole farm When she got back my Uncle said find anything. All she said was get in the car then she took him to the house . He couldn’t believe it chock full of antiques. . And yes she is now 100 years young and still has her farm

That chip on the ear of the wooden cat, just means she was spayed!! Lol That's what they do in the feral cat Trap Neuter Release program. They "tip" the ear, so they know not to catch that one again. That could be a good selling point to catch the eye of the many cat rescuers!! Lol

The prices were what I like to see at estate sales. The old granny reminds me of my great grandmother. There are company run in my area that I just avoid b/c I know they will be high. I found a group of realtors that also do estate clean outs and I was invited to join their mailing list. i attended one of their sales in my town, they invited me back on the pack up day and filled my car for $20. I have not gone through all they threw in.

That was the most beautiful property and adorable house! It makes me sad that someone’s cherished items that were saved for almost 100 years are sold like that. But it’s a fact of life. My favorites are the old wrought iron pieces, anything kitchen related, and books, books, books! Just found your channel and I’m hooked already!❤

I can't watch anymore. It's making me nuts! I wish I could find sales like that. But I no longer have a home to put these beauties in and no money to buy them. It makes me sad too because I have so much in storage that my children have no interest in. Things passed down from Grandmothers and Mother and other family members. I can't even get to my stuff. And this tiny apartment is ridiculous. Never thought my life would turn out like this but it is what it is.

It is so hard to sell silver plate because people don’t want to polish. I pulled out my mothers old set and decided to use it. I found I only have to polish 3 times or so a year and that’s using it every day. I just give to hubby to polish while he is glued to tv. They suggest hand washing, but I hand wash mostly since it is only the 2 of us so that isn’t an issue. My kids don’t want much of my things either, so I am gradually selling and donating. Liberating .

The vises brought back memories of one of my favorite sales. A couple was retiring to a small village in Wales. The husband bought his father's river stone cottage, barn and workshop and needed the antique vise I sold him ($90, paid $10) to restore the workshop. This is one of the reasons I love reselling!

I love what you found. I love the green cool cat. I would love it. The Japanese Vase, the red budha. All great, and the earings haul. I always say there is a lid for every pot. 20 people will walk past something and just the right person will find it. All in all fun, exciting, and fantastic. I went to a village flea market in Germany, not far from where we Iive. People sell outside their houses. That's where you can find very intetesting stuff as they are not flea market traders. I found some awesome finds. You have gotta get out there to find those treasures. 😁 Hope you make great sales. Cheers from Germany 😊

I love that you take us along and talk about each treasure but with prices that low, I was yelling at you to stick it in the box and get moving! You did end up with a lot! You’re sweet to take us along. Those are the sales you dream about. I would have been soaking wet. I’m from Rochester and even looking at the grass in Syracuse makes me homesick. 😔

That attic made me feel so sweaty just thinking of how uncomfortable that must of been. The green cat was a good pick up. Total retro weird vibes. Quirky always sells.

If I could have, I would have given this 10 Likes. So entertaining! Neat scenery, neat old house (so much old time wallpaper), neat items and you made me laugh so many times. The Granny doll was pretty realistic and when you mentioned her being a PTFG, I lost it. 🤣 I never could have taken the heat or the crowds, 6'6" sometimes has it's disadvantages doesn't it. I always wonder about who lived there and why they collected certain things. This was GREAT! Thanks!

Nah, if you check the comps on them they do NOT actually sell for that high. That is why they were still sitting on the shelf. Also, you have to factor in logisitcs when doing a hunt like this. There is just no way I was going to load in piles of heavy breakables into my box when I had so many more important items to focus on and explore. I get that you and others like jade dishes and would have got them, but that gives you more insight into my reasoning. Anyway, I am glad you liked the rest of the video.
Those apple crates is fantastic to get and people use the crates to make storage racks.
Another great author to look for is James Oliver Curwood who wrote stories of the far north, including The Bear which was made into a great movie !!!

As a vintage reseller, this is the sale dreams are made of. When you passed on the NOS Jadeite, I nearly choked on my donut! What town was this in?
Lol. Marcellus. Those Jadeite pieces are actually not worth very much and there was no way I wanted to load up with all of those breakables especially when I had so many more important things to focus on.

I could feel the excited tension in you as you kept finding more and more. Great advice about looking closely where other shoppers fail to notice, that’s always where I find my Best Buy’s. I think the cast iron stove miniature was my favorite.

I’m in California and a reseller here…mostly selling locally. Wow the differences east vs. west coast. This stuff would not sell here at all (country-ish antiques). 80’s is my best decade at the moment! Super interesting to see!

What a beautiful property. I love how you tap each item twice when you put it in the box. I just gave my granddaughter all my earrings I have had for 30 years. I am 75 and have moved so many times that my kids and grandkids already know what they will get when I go. I have gotten rid of everything except the most valuable and its not a lot. Loved the old kitchen in that house. Such a cozy old style. And the garden area had my imagination running. I've been to a few estate sales....so much fun!! I don't smoke, never have....but loved that pipe collection that had already been sold. Treasure for a man cave.

I know nothing about dolls and I don't collect them, but I think that the granny's head "wound" could stay as is, but you could have a seamstress design a bonnet to match the era and her costume

The trivet with the seahorses, brass with green enamel, is Midcentury and made in Israel. My mother had a set with different designs that hung in my childhood kitchen. I forgot the name of the art form with the green and brass, but you can find it. It’s a known Israel art piece sold in the markets there.
