A music video can elevate the music by giving us a great visual experience, but at the end of the day we mostly listen to music on our music players/streaming apps. I know a lot of people who don't even know some music videos exist, or couldn't care less, at the end of the day the most important thing it's the music, music videos as I said can just elevate a track, but not compensate for a track's mediocrity. In this case Reminder is a song I really love, but the music video doesn't really add something to the song, and it's ok, The Weeknd definitely has some dope ass, intricate music videos, some of them, especially the latest ones are even connected by a story line
