Richard Wright deserves a mention for two injuries he suffered while at Everton. In 2003, he dislocated his shoulder by falling out of a loft. But my favourite, in 2006, he injured his ankle before a game at Chelsea by falling over a ‘don’t warm-up here’ sign during the warm-up.
I know It’s not an injury but Keita being stuck in his country due to a military coup was the funniest and one of the wildest reasons a footballer has missed games
I swear he missed games for the most random reasons
He also missed one cuz he got ill from the air conditioning on the private jet. One of my favourites for sure

Then I realised he was breaking up a fight over a ping pong game and broke his finger whilst separating Kim min jae and lee Kang lin

The Kyle reminds me of the time I was recovering from a fractured ankle. Had made myself a cuppa and limped back to the sofa, as I sat down my ankle gave way and I fell back - split my got tea all over myself and burnt my chest 😅
The Dan Burn thing is similar to what happened to a basketball player from my hometown. Gerald Green was playing basketball on a makeshift goal while wearing a ring and when he dunked the ball the ring got caught and ripped his finger off.
