Bob Andy, the man and his music, just sheer class, and way ahead of its time. While others were singing about war, hate and division, the great man was singing about positive inspirations and love. Such a pity he didn't get just recognition and rewards from the pirates who copied and exploited his work. R.I.P legend.
I meet Bob Andy on a building site in Nottingham hill gate London England late 198o or early 1990 we were working with someone who knew Bob Andy from Jamaica as Bob was passing they were talking and he ask him to come inside the word quickly went around that Bob Andy was on site we all stop what we were doing to meet him to us he is a super star and so humble I love Bob as artists meeting in person I love even more your name will never be forgotten RIP ras Jr g
Remember this! In 1988 Black Steel on Bass and Ridim Guitar and Victor Cross on Piano and Organ! Played two songs on The Freely Album specially! Cherry.. I'm gonna tell you goodbye. I toured with Bob Andy and it was fun playing Bass live in Poland and Finland early 1988-1989. Gone but not forgotten. Yes his voice and his music lives on forever and ever.. Jah Live!!

One of the best ever releases of the Tribute albums. For this show, I really wanted to see Luciano perform the monster tune Life is a Symphony. But together with Sanchez and Mikey Spice, they were missing from the line-up of performers. What a show it was though!! Nadine, Romain and Kumar were breath-taking. Beres got a standing ovation, legendary. Thanks Dean for another excellent production. Thanks Keith "Bob Andy" Anderson for these anthems. The music will endure.
