My life and vision of how to live and see life was changed, when I met and spent two months living together on his last visit to Sydney Australia around 20 years ago, We spent most of the time together, chatting and cooking, well, he would chat and I just listen, He always makes sure I understood everything he was telling me, If I didn't, He would explain more in-depth, Until I Did I use to think of bob andy as being so heavy when he speaks or explaining consciousness & livity, He should have a professor, with his vision by teaching it to every young and old Jamaican, That would be an interesting outcome our beautiful country, I will never forget Bob Andy, He was a true Gentleman and a Conscious Rastaman RIP My brother.
I grew up in his (Bob Andy’s ) music! A prolific songwriter and deep thinker! This tribute to Bob Andy is so indicative of Lady Marcia Griffiths’ Maturity! Professionalism & Love for Humanity & MUSIC #LoveSign

I would have liked to respond on all the eloquent speakers in this video, ( and I must apologise for not recognizing more than a few of you) but that would make my message too long. So I'm just going to comment on two speakers, the lady in red and the seated man in black puma top. Due to how the popular media relate to reggae music, back in say the 60s-80s, our innovative musical philosophers got overlooked, pushed into the background. Some time ago I read a deplorable article in a Sunday magazine about reggae. It was probably one of the only articles a mainly white public would have read in their life. If so those readers would carry a very limited view of reggae music, artist and lyracist for their life. It could be the journalist just wanted to implant a negative view into the heads of a limited minded audience anyway. Unlike say writing about reggae figures in the shining way that you spoke about Bob Andy. My second comment is in regards to what the man said about wondering how Bob as a Jamaican could do what he did. I really heard what he said, because we Jamaicans don't have a great tradition of uplifting our philosophers and prophets as such. But this is a new century and we have to write a new song in the way we relate to our great minds. I'm really pleased to see that the video has gone some way in redressing the imbalance. Recognizing Bob Andy for the intellect and genius he channelled into his art is a good step, and i look forward to any future vids that explore otherwise hidden knowledge about Westindian figureheads. Keep up your great work!! 😀💣💥💞❤💚💛😀
But why not? His mother was good friends with Bob...and He had a relationship with the elder and took counsel from him....if he wanted to pay homage as a young person then that is Jah will!
