Hotel looks lovely, and sounds like a fairly reasonable place to visit. Nice to see JP again but what we all want to know is what the argument was about in the restaurant 😅

Love the Costa del Sol. My parents-in-law used to own a house up in the hills by Vélez Málaga. So we’ve been there quite a bit.

We always used to fly into Malaga Airport but the only part of the city I ever saw was the car rental place and motorway heading out towards Marbella/Estapona. I definitely have to visit again to see Malaga itself.

hey Becky, was just so jealous when I saw you were in Malaga, a vastly underrated city! My partner had an apartment in the mountains inland from Fuengirola, it was sold 4 years ago and I miss Spain so much. I used to love to go to Malaga mercado and sit on a high stool with a dish of seafood, crusty bread a cold glass of rose....bliss! Afterwards coffee with churros in a cafe
So many great things to do and fantastic shops. Have an amazing time. Long to go back.
I will say Malaga is a lot busier than when I used to visit pre-Covid - so I think more people may have discovered it. We hope to go back next year!
Yes the Costa Del Sol has seen a massive increase in tourism as it is cheap and easy to access from UK and Europe@@BeckyReynolds
My in-laws live in Malaga. This is making me miss them 😢. It’s hard for us because, to go as a family, it’s actually expensive and unaffordable. Three tickets (return), baggage, getting to and from airports, and, having to now travel in holiday time as well. We always have to pay for extra baggage allowance because my husband has to have a lot of medical supplements and food. Also, my father-in-law has dementia, so time with him is now so precious.

yes it is commercial but the prices as you say are really affordable - my son-in-law says if you like Malaga then you must try Madrid - very similar(that is his birth place) - I love all your cosmetic purchases what a bargain you must go back for more(Joke)

Were there many vegan options ? ❤
There was a lot of vegetable options on the menu like tomato toast and Padron peppers however not sure how they were cooked. However a popular restaurant called BrunchIt offers some nice vegan options. I think if you did a little researching beforehand, you could definitely find a few places! Also fruits, smoothies, nuts straight from the market!
