That's great for brand new never ran stuff. Gets a bit tougher doing same thing with equipment that's been ran for thousands of miles over couple years where condensation has got between the end cap and muffler can causing corrosion and oxidation. I have had to spray with pentetration oil and use rubber band wrenches on end caps to twist and brake them loose.

True! Aaron also recommends using a good bit of PB Blaster for bikes from Florida with all that corrosion! Thanks for the comment!

4" xtreme true duals. Can't get one side to slide flush to the pipe. Stops just short. Only 1 screw hole lines up

Aaron , What chemical are you using to clean the slip ons with?

The brand new end caps with brand new slip ons do not come apart that easy and if you wedge them apart it ruins the aluminum edge making the old caps unusable or sellable - your company should offer the upgraded caps already installed on the slip ons
