Logged into ptr the other day to see how CoH was working. Found the annihilation bug, facepalmed and realized how bugged out havoc was and logged off. Way havoc has been treated this entire tier wouldn't surprise me at all if havoc goes live with zero bug fixes since we are the forgotten spec of wow. They'll probably have to do a 4th rework of hunters before they remember that we exist.
Incredible they managed to make havoc look worst even in the actual situation.. Managed to bug almost everything they touched, and managed to take one of the ugliest hero spec in the game that everybody avoided with joy and made it probably the new best hero spec for this sad spec. Idk I can hardly think of another time playing havoc felt this bad. Also the rotating sword animation have literally nothing to do with dh theme, looks like they didn't know what to do and they used the first thing that came to mind, looks like a 10 years old bad anim.. Idk, this is kinda sad.. ty for ur testing anyway!!
You’re 100% right they’re doing stuff that makes no sense as far as representation of the class or gameplay. Nothing looks original or creative in any type of way. The real question is are they spending too many resources and too many man hours of their devs into this new drive mechanic which turns wow into Mario kart. I think they’re stepping away from their main breadwinner and trying to turn it into everything rather than concentrating on what it actually was. This is really sad
I really hate the new way that COH works. Making it take 5 seconds off of the CD every time you use it completely desyncs it from essence break which was the initial complaint with the talent to begin with. Yeah it eventually lines up with a 20 second CD but that takes 4 eye beams or just over a minute (with meta) or 110 seconds without meta. And that is assuming you press it on CD but you won't because you would save it for essence break which means it is a much longer timer to get them synced up by which point the fight is half over and the talent has provided 0 benefit. Yes the stacks last out of combat but I guarantee that they will be cleared in raid fights on pull. Otherwise if the havoc dies they'll be crying "let me go farm eye beams before pull, BRB"
I think for the first time since Legion released I'm going to reroll off of havoc, especially if aldrachi reaver ends up being the better option on live. i mean nobody can even test the class with these bugs right now, that's a horrible indication for the future.
the fact that pack leader is now an entirely different tree while aldrachi reaver is getting animations added in is actually pretty upsetting, not gonna lie lol. The Wounded Quarry change and capping Reaver's Mark to 1 target aren't even close to enough to save that tree, yet they are actually going through the effort of animating the talents that are already there now? They do know people have to be playing havoc next season to see the animations, right? People have to have a reason to want to play it, and quite frankly even if AR is the top dps in the game by more than enhance ever was this season in all content, i will never touch it on live without a serious rework. Absolutely no hate to the animation team. The animations *DO* look good and are better than having nothing. I just feel like it's either something that they were told to do now to throw us a bone and have us shut up (which means fewer changes to the tree), or something they were told to do earlier and just now finished/implemented (which means it could be wasted work if talents do change). I just hope the animations can be repurposed easy enough.
I dont have any desire to play DH anymore. Just lost it. Switched on survival and having a blast and i suggest the same to all fellow DHs here. Class is just utterly broken and i am personally tired of shits around it.
@@christophermarsh3172 it’s Realz, it’s for texture. Intention is for it to last indefinitely in combat either way, the bug would only be if they weren’t intended for out of combat. IMO this is how it should be for m+, or have a super long decay timer
the rename of momentum to exergy might be for translation problems i play in french (native language) and in french they are both called "inertie" (and we have no other word for it they both HAVE to be translated to "inertie") with exergy it fixes this since we have a different word for it "exergie" i wonder if that's also the case for other languages or if it's just french tho
It often feels like blizzard had this cool idea back in legion for the demon hunter, and they used up nearly every idea they had when they made the class, even stealing stuff from warlock. And ever since it has been a struggle for them to keep up with the more established rpg classes in terms of development ideas, and finding the passion to iterate? forget about it. We have half the specs of druid and 1/4th the creativity and investment it seems. I had hope in the Realz discord era but it was a flash in the pan I guess.
Kind of hoping they change or at least limit wounded quarry.. not really looking forward to “multidot” targets with reavers mark in M+ to max dps when micromanaging souls is already a chore.
interesting with DH is that we are always so bad... boring playstyle, boring tier set... boring everything... no system to design the uuggly demon form etc... etc... kind of bad an boring in all scenarios.... :( beside dubble jump and glide :)

ret herald hero tree has been bugged since start and still not fixed so yea u can expect some things to go live bugged and never get fixed

The wounded quarry and the synergy between screaming brutality and AR changes are very very nice though . I have to give credit where it's due.

I'm going to say cycle of hatred stacks lasting indefinitely is a bug, otherwise why would it have the ramping up mechanic even to begin with.
