I got Exploring Nature with Children this last Fall 2022. We did one section, the Fall section. Then took a break. Now we’ll probably do Summer this year. Then Winter and Spring next year. It’s a lot to do it all in one year I feel like.
I found this really useful, so thank you! I really don't enjoy the popular "nature journaling" as it's typically presented. But this has given me some good ideas. Or, we may just scrap it and enjoy the hike. :)
@@TheHomeschoolConvert I should have known to look there, thank you! We're in Texas now too, way different geography than CA! At least here in north Texas. Guess we have to just try harder to find that elevation. Which part are y'all in? This inspired us to get out more so thanks!

My husband and I always say the harder the hikes, the better the kids are! They complain less, laugh more, love the rocky climbs versus being “bored”.
I have very similar feet and have been looking for good hiking boots, so thanks so much for the recommendation!

What kind of hiking backpacks do y'all use? I've been searching and I can't decide.
I have the one I use linked in the description box, but it’s just one I found on Amazon. Nothing super fancy, but it’s doing the job for now.
